A Little More Adventure, A Lot More Memories 🏔️💚
Every once in a while, you get the chance to hit pause on everyday life and make memories that you know your family will talk about forever. That’s exactly what this trip to Montana was for our family.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of The Children's Dream Fund, a dream vacation was gifted to our youngest son, Kane, who was born with Esophageal Atresia.
For our family, Kane is so much more than his diagnosis. He is adventurous, determined, creative, and has always had a huge passion for cooking and baking. That passion is a big part of the story behind Jellybird Cafe and why this little restaurant means so much to our family. 🐦
And Montana? It was absolutely unforgettable. 🤍
🏔️ We explored the mountains on a private ATV tour, climbing high into the mountains with an incredible guide who took us off the beaten path and showed us hidden gems we never would have found on our own.
🚤 We spent a beautiful day boating on Whitefish Lake, taking in the scenery and soaking up every second together.
🛶 We kayaked, cliff jumped, laughed until our stomachs hurt, and probably did a few things our parents would have preferred not to know about. 😂
🥩 We enjoyed an incredible dinner at Charley’s Steak House, enjoying an evening together and some seriously good food.
🃏 But some of our favorite moments weren't just the big adventures. They were the quiet ones - sitting around playing cards, laughing, talking, hanging out and simply being together in the mountains.
There is something incredibly special about getting away from the busy schedules, the responsibilities and the everyday noise and realizing just how precious quality family time really is.
We are beyond grateful to the Children’s Dream Fund for making this possible. Their mission of creating dream experiences and unforgettable memories for children facing serious medical challenges and their families is such a beautiful gift.
You didn't just give Kane a vacation. You gave our entire family memories we'll carry with us forever. ❤️
