It's Spring!! Some of you are happy about the fresh flowers, sunshine and green grass. However, Spring time can bring on an unexpected flare up. Your diet has not changed, but you are experiencing cramping, bloating and all the tell tale signs of being, "Glutenized!" We know! We have expereinced the same things. What was safe is Not bringing enjoyment but misery. What?! Why?! I am not a physician, but I believe that our gut microbiome goes through a change and due to Vitamin D or the lack there of during Winter time we have a hard time adjusting to the new season. It reminds me of our cows. They want to eat all that fresh grass, but we have to ease them into it so they don't bloat.
What we have done to help out our systems in this seasonal change is adding in gut friendly bacteria like fermented foods, digestive enzymes when needed and going easy on raw veggies. Hope this help!

We have chatted about texting a, 'Disclaimer' to all wives who's husbands pick up orders to let them know that there was a full dozen of cookies in the bag when they left with the order. We've been sent pictures of torn loaves and 1/2 dozen bags of cookies from wives. Glad to know the husbands are happy with the orders too! 😁

Gluten Free Molasses cookies made with organic coconut sugar! It's Fall and there is nothing better than a Molasses cookie that is loaded with spices. We like to eat them with a mug of Hot Masala Chai! These have a 12 hour ferment which makes them easy on your belly.

It's beginning to look and feel like FALL!! Soup or stew? As long as you can dip a chunk of sourdough into it and feel the warming of your belly and the comforts of Home, settle in.
