New Artist at the Café !We’re excited to welcome to the café! Come by, check out her beautiful work on display, and maybe take home a piece that speaks to you.Learn more about the artist and read her bio here: Sasha is a self-taught painter, printmaker, and muralist from the former Soviet Union. She spent most of her childhood and young adulthood in Brooklyn, New York before moving to Portland in 2015. Before becoming a professional artist, she lived many lives: experimenting on the sensory systems of fish, working with sea lions at an aquarium, as a counselor for a girl with autism, as a circus arts teacher, a science teacher, and an organic farmer. Her journey now continues as a full-time artist in Portland, where she lives with her husband, toddler, and two dogs.
