Y’all know we love taking a classic and making it just a LITTLE extra around here!

Our made-from-scratch banana pudding, fresh banana slices, and buttery Chessmen cookies all layered together into one delicious treat! Because really, who needs vanilla wafers when you can be a little bougie?! 😂

A BIG thank you to our friends at Reid’s Smoke Co. and customers for trusting us with your dessert orders today! We are so thankful and can’t wait to do it again! 🫶🏼

And y’all, do yourselves a favor and go give them a follow! If you love some GOOD smoked meat (and let’s be honest, who doesn’t?!), you definitely need to catch their next order! Good BBQ and a homemade dessert? That’s hard to beat!

Well, friends… sometimes Mother Nature has other plans. 🍂🌧️

Unfortunately, with the storms moving in, Fall on the Farm isn’t going to look quite like we all hoped.

After watching the forecast and going back and forth, we’ve made the tough decision that Ada’s Bakeshop will not be setting up tomorrow. We absolutely hate missing an opportunity to see all of YOU, but safety has to come first.

The good news?! 🍁 Bernard Farms Custom Cuts and Market store will still be OPEN, and several wonderful vendors will be set up under the covered porch!

Please, if you’re able, stop by and show these folks some love! So much time, effort, and heart goes into preparing for events like this, and your support means more than you know. ❤️

We’re disappointed we won’t be there, but we’re so thankful for your understanding and can’t wait to see YOU soon!

Y’all have sold these out within just a couple of days for the last TWO weeks, so this week… we were asked to DOUBLE the order! 🙌🏼

If you’ve been waiting to try the perfect little mix of a pumpkin roll + oatmeal cream pie, now’s your chance. 🍂

🎃 So… why do we call it a Pumpkin Porch Pie?!

We’ve had a few people ask why our Pumpkin Oatmeal Cream Pie has such a fun little name, so we thought we’d share! 🤎

When we created this cookie, it reminded us of everything we love about fall—pumpkins, cozy afternoons, crisp air, and sitting on the porch with something sweet in hand.

And let’s be honest… Pumpkin Oatmeal Cream Pie is a mouthful. 😂

So Pumpkin Porch Pie just felt right. Simple, cozy, a little Southern, and perfectly Ada’s. 🧡

It’s two soft pumpkin oatmeal cookies sandwiched with our cream cheese filling—a pumpkin roll and an oatmeal cream pie in perfect harmony. 🎃🤎

We are SO thankful you all have enjoyed them so much already! 🤎 Be sure to come see us next Saturday at Bernard Farms Custom Cuts and Market—we’ll have plenty of Pumpkin Porch Pies ready and waiting for YOU!

🤍 What an honor it was to be a small part of such a special day! 🤍

Yesterday, we had the privilege of making desserts for a beautiful wedding at Briar Rose Hill Event Venue. The bride and groom chose brownies, chocolate chip cookies, Almond Joy cookies, snickerdoodles, and vanilla cake cups — such a fun spread!

It truly means so much to us when someone chooses Ada’s Bakeshop to be part of the moments they’ll remember forever. We’re just a little bakeshop, and we never take that trust for granted. 🤍

Congratulations, Rebekah Cheesman & Josh! We’re wishing you both a lifetime of love, happiness, and many blessings as you begin this new chapter together!
