What a SWEET way to close out another Portland TN Farmers' Market season. 🥹♥️🥹
Tonight, our hearts are just overflowing with gratitude.
When we look back over this season, we don’t just see cookies sold or tables emptied. We see people. We see familiar faces who showed up week after week. We see new friendships formed across our table. We see conversations, laughter, encouragement, hugs, prayers, and a community that has loved our little Bakeshop so incredibly well. YOU are part of this story, and we hope you know how much you mean to our family.
And more than anything, we see the faithfulness of the Lord. This season has reminded us over and over again that He can do so much more with our yes than we could ever do on our own.
And we simply cannot close out this season without recognizing our incredible market manager, Hannah Ladd. She is so much more than the person who makes this market happen each week — she is a true and treasured friend. ♥️
This season asked more of her than anyone should have to carry as she walked through the heartbreaking loss of her mom. And yet, even in the midst of her own grief, she continued to pour into this market, its vendors, and this community with so much strength, grace, and perseverance. I have watched her keep showing up and loving people even on the hardest days, and I hope she knows just how deeply she is loved and appreciated. This market simply would not be what it is without her, and neither would our experience here. I am so incredibly thankful the Lord allowed our paths to cross through this little market.
Portland, you have blessed us beyond what we could ever put into words. Thank you for allowing us to serve you, love on you, and be a small part of your Thursdays this season.
