Locally grown asparagus, uncured smoked ham, and onion are the stars of our limited-time savory hand pie, baked into a cheesy filling and tucked into a flaky crust. Freshly baked and available at the Plymouth Farmers Market on Thursday, June 4.

A quick update: our Butternut Squash Bread w/Pecan Streusel is coming off this week's market menu. It turns out this one gave the baker more trouble than joy, and we’re committed to offering only the items we can make beautifully every time. Thank you for being such a supportive community — it means everything.

The weather on opening day at the@plymouthfarmersmarket wasn’t perfect, but so many of you came out anyway — and we’re so grateful. It was wonderful to see familiar faces follow us to our new home at the Plymouth Public Library, and just as exciting to meet so many new customers discovering us for the first time.

The journey of the very last of Farmer Dave’s butternut squash!
This beauty weighed in at a whopping 7 lbs 12 oz and has been chilling (literally) in my basement all winter. But its big moment has finally arrived.

Part of it gets diced for our Squash & Sausage Hand Pies.
The rest gets roasted and pureed for Butternut Squash Bread w/Pecan Streusel.

This squash was such an overachiever that I even froze extra puree for future bread — and still had enough left for our dinner. A true multitasker.
