Our mural is officially DONE!! 🎉🍪
We are SO incredibly happy and thrilled with how it turned out, and we hope you love it as much as we do! It’s the perfect finishing touch to our new patio. ❤️
There are a lot of little details hidden throughout the mural that bring the story of our family business to life, so we wanted to share a few of them!
🍪 Front and center is our mascot, Chipitelli, happily holding one of our delicious sandwiches!
💧 The water tower is a nod to the Placentia water tower and the city we’re lucky to call home.
⚽ The little boy playing soccer to the left of Chipitelli is me! I played soccer my whole life, and of course I’m wearing a Ducks hat because we’re a big Ducks family. GO DUCKS! 🦆
🐶 Above me is my sister walking our childhood dog.
🧺 On the picnic blanket is my brother-in-law enjoying the park with the family.
❤️ On the park bench are my parents watching my nephew play, with our current dog right beside them.
🐱 And if you look up in the tree, you’ll even find our cat!
We chose a park scene because we feel like it perfectly represents the community we’re lucky to be a part of — happy, welcoming and family-oriented. And if you look closely at the trees in the background, you might even spot some oranges as a little nod to Orange County! 🍊
This mural means so much to us because it combines our family, our community and our business all in one place.
And of course, a HUGE thank you to our incredibly talented artist, John, who absolutely knocked it out of the park! 🎨👏
We truly hope that when you sit outside and enjoy a cookie, sandwich or lunch with us, this mural brings you as much happiness and joy as it brings our family. ❤️🍪
