When your parent can't remember stories from 20 years ago, capture what they DO remember.
I want to encourage you to focus on small moments, big moments, sad moments—the negative things we don't always include in life stories. Those moments are genuinely just as important as the happy ones.

You can also capture everyday stories and details. If someone doesn't remember what happened 15 or 20 years ago, but they DO remember what happened today, yesterday, or this morning? Meeting them where they are is a beautiful way to acknowledge their human dignity and give them space and presence with who they are right now.

You don't need their whole life story to create a meaningful legacy. ❤️
