Hi 👋🏻 I’m Nicole, the baker behind Fairy Godmother Baking Co.

Baking has always been a big passion of mine, and it all really started with me bringing dessert to every single family function. Over time, with so much encouragement from my family, those desserts turned into this little dream business.

I actually struggled for a while trying to choose the perfect name. Then on Christmas morning 2018, everything fell into place when my sister Megan asked me to be Godmother to her daughter and gifted me aprons that read “Fairy Godmother Baking Co.” It felt like pure magic, and that’s how it all began 🤍

What started as a tiny home operation has grown into weekly farmers markets filled with cinnamon roasted nuts, award winning cookies, small batch peanut butter, and fresh bread.

None of this would happen without my amazing team: my husband Josh handling markets, deliveries, and all the behind the scenes hustle. My dad Joe and cousin Rick who show up week after week to help us with the markets. We truly couldn’t do it without them. And of course my goddaughter Payton, the heart of our name and our peanut butter’s #1 fan 💫

Nancy with Cultura Mia is popping in with bottled aguas frescas 🍹 Take home a variety of 16.9 oz bottles in staple flavors (Mango, Strawberry, Hibiscus, Pineapple, Cucumber, Lemon-Lime) -- as well as her seasonal flavor: Citrus Trio-- a refreshing blend of orange, grapefruit and lemon 🍋

Norah's Sweet Potato Pies is headed to us mid-week 🤩 with her famous assortment of pies, bars and cakes 🎂

Barrow Neurological Institute will be popping in -- no handmade cards this week! Instead: their handmade dog biscuits 🐕

Time to stock up on your Mama's Cold Brew -- after 11 years together, MCB is winding down their business 😭 We have loved every minute with this tremendous coffee partner and fellow mama! Tomorrow (Wedn) and this weekend (Sat) are their final markets at Uptown - come on out and caffeinate!

We will have OVER 1000 Easter eggs throughout the market, 600 of those will have vendor coupons that you will be able use with our amazing vendors. Free items, 50% off, buy one get one, etc. So many amazing deals to come and find at the Desert West Market.

A Community Affair Farmers Market is so excited to finally announce that starting this Sunday March 29th we will be at our new location at American Furniture Warehouse at 303 & Waddell.

We owe a huge thank you to Imagine Prep Surprise for giving us this past year an incredible space to grow and in that short year we've now grown so much its now time to move again to bring our amazing community and even bigger and better market.

We can't wait to see what is in store for us starting this weekend!
We will have all of our same amazing local artisans, makers, and bakers in a space that gives us even more room to grow!
