Batter & Crumbs No Eggs. No Dairy. No Problem! Batter & Crumbs is a 100% vegan coffee shop and bakery located in the heart of South Philly. Come for the coffee.

We’re proudly plant-based, serving up handcrafted espresso drinks, scratch-baked pastries, and savory bites made with love, never with animal products. Our menu is full of flavor and lots of fun. Whether you're here for a delicious pastry, tasty sandwich, or just a good pun with your latte, we’ve got you. Everything is house-made, dairy-free, egg-free, and full of food and drinks you’ll want to tell your non-vegan friends about. Baked goods and sandwiches are nut-free and we also carry some gluten-free items, so something for everyone! We believe in keeping it kind, keeping it fun, and keeping it local. We’re all about good coffee, great food, and a welcoming space where vegans, the vegan-curious, and full-on omnivores can find something they love. Stay for the crumbs.

Congratulations to our winners! Gladio is our front cover dog and Debbie will grace the back cover.

Bear, Zero, Romeo, Milo, Reba Grace, and Raja will be on the bookmark.

Thank you to Carol Arscott Photography and to everyone that supported this project. We raised $4800 for PAWS and $8232 for STRAY CAT RELIEF.

The books will come out late November or early December and we can’t wait to see it!

We’ll get back to sweater weather eventually, but for today a Chick’n Salad Sandwich sounds pretty darn good. 🥐

New hats have arrived and we still have shirts and tumblers on the shelves as well!

We may not be emotionally prepared for this but here we go!

The Phillies kick off the playoffs today at 2 PM, so we’re summoning some postseason energy with our Red October Latte ❤️

Grab one of these cupcake flavored lattes topped with coconut whipped cream and red sprinkles before the first pitch and let’s see where this thing goes.

GO PHILS! ⚾️

🐾 PETS OF BATTER & CRUMBS COFFEE TABLE BOOK UPDATE! 🐾

Yes, it’s still happening. And yes, it’s going to be ridiculously cute.

The photo sessions are officially wrapped, and thanks to everyone who participated, we’ve already raised an incredible $4,600 for PAWS ! ❤️

But these furry little overachievers aren’t done yet! Beginning on October 1st, you’ll get to vote for which pet gets to be on the cover.

Every dollar raised during the cover vote will benefit STRAY CAT RELIEF, so this next round of cuteness will be doing even more good.

We’re working toward having the finished book ready before the holiday season, and we cannot wait for you to see it.

In the meantime, here’s a little sneak peek from some of our photo sessions. We can’t thank Carol Arscott Photography enough for all of the time and effort she has already put into this project. 🦆
