✨ A milestone moment for my small business ✨
This holiday season, I fulfilled my first major corporate order, and I’m still feeling incredibly grateful (and honestly… a little in awe).
It all started at Make Your Mark[et] () a seasonal pop-up created by the amazing Melissa ( ) that highlights handmade goods from artists across the NY metro area. While I was there for a “pop-up in a pop-up,” I met Michelle ( ) co-founder of Change Agents, who asked a simple question: “Do you do corporate gifts?”
I hadn’t executed a large corporate order yet… but it’s been part of my business plan from the beginning. I knew I could do it—so I said yes.
What followed was an experience I’ll always remember. Change Agents trusted me not only to make beautiful, delicious cookies, but to represent their brand as well. That trust was incredibly affirming—and yes, a little nerve-wracking too—because this moment wasn’t just about me. It was about both of our businesses showing up with care and intention.
Together, we created:
• 55 classic collection dozen boxes
• 80 classic collection half-dozen boxes paired with a bag of gingerbread nibbles
• Finished with custom tissue and ribbon colors
This is why choosing small businesses matters. Corporate dollars spent thoughtfully don’t just check a box—they create real impact, real partnerships, and real community.
