Hi all. I made a few cookie sets before surgery and froze them. I have all 5 sets on the porch stand. Don’t wait around. When these are gone, they are gone. I physically cannot make more.

Last night was bittersweet. Leah, has already accomplished so much in her short 18 years on this planet. It’s time for her to spread those wings and fly!! She will be going to school to be a Physical Therapist. I I’m so proud of her and can’t wait to see her have a summer filled with sun, her sweet boyfriend, walks on the beach, and all of the fun teenage things but I’m so sad to lose her. She was not just a worker, she’s truly a part of our family. My dogs are going to miss her. My Sayler is going to miss her. My customers are going to miss her. Her mom will miss her. But my husband and I will miss her in a special way. She has stolen a big piece of our heart.
Leah…we love you!!! Jess…thank you for sharing your beautiful daughter with us.

After suffering with numb fingers and pain that has brought tears to my eyes for more than a year, the time has come to make some repairs to my body. I will be having surgery to alleviate these symptoms next Friday (June 12). My recovery time will be dependent upon my thumb as they will be removing part of the bone and inserting some sort of cushioning. It is looking like 3 months minimum until I am back in action.

Leah, has been my girl this last year since I’ve begun watching my granddaughter full time. She will be leaving for college in the fall and is spending the summer at the beach where she will be working serving up yummy goodies to beach goers. We will all miss her but no one more than me!!

I will absolutely try to place items in the stand as I regain mobility and strength however, I do not expect that to happen for at least 6 weeks post op. I will be filling the stand this weekend and possibly next so grab some goodies while they are there. Most items freeze well.

Thank you in advance for your love and support. I hope to be back stronger than ever this fall.
