Grand rising bread family.

We have officially entered what I called the soupy season.

When the humidity is high like this, everything is double bags, and a high velocity fan is out on the porch to preserve the integrity of the bread and scones.

On days like this, I periodically check stuff if I don’t like what’s happening, you may find a sign on the stand that tells you to ring my bell.

When it gets to be too much, I do move the bread and baked goods back inside to preserve the integrity.

Happy Friday. 

It does feel a tad warmer and humid out there this morning, so I did double bag everything to preserve the integrity of your baked sourdough goods.

Grand rising bread family.

Another glorious day.

I am restocked for your sourdough needs.

I will be keeping an eye on the humidity level if it rises I will be adding an extra bag to the outside to preserve the integrity of the bread.

If you are not able to eat your bread within four days and it’s starting to become stale, you can refresh your bread.

Preheat your oven to 400°

Run the bread, underwater just a little to get it wet , cut side down on the tray bake for 15 minutes and it will come out just as soft as the day I baked it.

You can also freeze it and follow the same instructions.

And as always, it’s best to keep the bread in the paper bag I provide that keeps it for the longest.

Do not put your sourdough in plastic unless it’s sandwich bread .
