When I was little, my mom and grandma always cooked us homemade dinners and delicious treats. I would always be standing on chairs just to reach the stove to stir the pot or turn on the oven light to watch cookies bake. I love everything about food and my creativity thrives every time I step foot in a kitchen. After graduating high school, I knew that I wanted my own restaurant or bakery. I attend

ed Metropolitan Community College Institute for Culinary Arts and graduated with a degree in baking and pastry. I started Crum Cakes Bakery in 2016. With every person I reach, I want them to feel the love and joy I put into each and everyone of my desserts. If you haven't tried my cream puffs, they are a must! When a last-minute order becomes a moment we’ll never forget. 🥥🤍

A couple weeks ago, we received a frantic message from a customer out of state. He needed a very specific cake by the next day—a yellow coconut cake with mandarin orange and pineapple filling, topped with whipped cream and coconut shavings—for a "Pig Picking" celebration. (Yes, we had to look that up too! 😉)

He wanted to surprise his friend who was going through a tough time after receiving some difficult health news. She wasn’t expecting a thing.

We pulled it together, delivered it the next day, and when she saw it? She lit up. She told him it absolutely made her day.

This is why we bake. It’s not just about flour and sugar—it’s about creating a meaningful dessert for a meaningful connection. Even when the order comes from hundreds of miles away, we’re honored to be the ones to put that smile on someone’s face.

Here’s to the friends who go the extra mile (literally!) to show they care. 🐷🍰

Also, we had to try this cake for ourselves and made up some cake slices for you guys to try it too! I think it's a top 5 for me! Stop by a try a slice before there gone!
