A little bts of my stab cake process.

My piece of white chocolate may have been a bit too thick so lesson learned for next time.

Other than that I think this process got the job done.

Hey yโ€™all, meet Moth Gideon, the first of my To***co Hawk Moths to emerge.

I actually took photos last night to give you an update when we noticed an empty cocoon this morning.

He is so beautiful and I canโ€™t believe I get to have this experience.
We took him outside in case he tried to fly, he fluttered his wings for a sec but that was it.
I donโ€™t know when he emerged but heโ€™s been hanging with me for two hours now and doesnโ€™t seem interested in leaving.
I think it takes several hours before heโ€™s ready to fly, and his proboscis is still tangled so maybe thatโ€™s what heโ€™s waiting on ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ

As I was wrapping up with this cake today, I sighed happily at how gorgeous it was then said โ€œyou do too muchโ€ to myself.

But it was true, the cake was marvelous.

Was this cake worth the price? No, it was worth quite a bit more because of the work I put into it.

But the truth is I donโ€™t know how to do less.

This is going to bite me on the butt at some point, I certainly feel it some days.

But then I go and get a message like this and it makes my cakey heart so freakin happy.

..not really, but I think she does approve of the fairy garden.

She sleeps all day so I enjoy our mini play sessions before I feed her and scooch her back into her terrarium then I get to share them with you ๐Ÿ˜

It was risky business taking her outside but it was just for a couple of minutes, she did like being out there, a little too much maybe.

A simple and easy recipe for all your edible blood needs.
You can double this recipe if you need a larger amount.

1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/2 tablespoon sifted cocoa powder
1/2 tablespoons red food coloring

Whisk all ingredients together and have fun caking.

This enchanting storybook wedding cake went out in May to celebrate the union of A and N.

This was my first book cake, and I stressed so much about it but in the end I couldnโ€™t have been happier with how it turned out.

Itโ€™s also very hard finding a tutorial on a closed book cake but there was too much anxiety on my end to record the process so I didnโ€™t help with that problem at all.
