I feel like I’m on a slow creature series so I’m rounding it off with this cutie patootie.

I made this last month for Ellie and I had no idea her party was going to be a Pink Pony-esque Cowgirl theme when I made her cake 50 shades of pink. But it fit in quite perfectly and she and her cake were quite adorable.

Anyway, her dad is our realtor and he’s pretty amazing. I, no joke, had a fear of realtors before we met Cory. He is seriously so down to earth and feels like the guy that lives down the street. So if you’re looking for a realtor give him a call Cory Burger

This is what happens when you let a five year old be in charge of their birthday cake design and it is the absolute best thing ever.

A “for sale” sign just went up in front of their house but days before they moved my little neighbor Ayla had her last birthday hoorah before saying goodbye to her friends, house and neighborhood.

She chose to celebrate her birthday early so she could have it here and personally requested a cake from me 🥹

The conversation and text messages prior to nailing down the final ideas for her cake were hilarious. With each text I giggled and said, looks like Ayla’s changed her mind again.

Anyway, this is how I interpreted her requests and she loved it.
I am going to miss Ayla and her family so much. They have been wonderful neighbors and I’m sad to see them go but happy to have shared some memories with them.

I posted her mama’s birthday cake yesterday so I thought I’d post hers today.

Lucy turned six last month and had a fun filled party at the Healing Farm that sounded so amazing.

This year she wanted a turtle on her cake. Last year she had an Orca, Mt Rainier and rainbows, a winning combo for sure but this year’s was also quite adorable.

I mean just look at this fancy girl and her fancy floral crown.

On a side note, anyone else feeling particularly good about not having a single Pink or Ed Sheeran song on any playlist and satisfied that you’ve never bought anything of theirs? Well I am.

Also feeling quite proud of my fellow former Garfield High Bulldog and Evergreen Geoduck, Macklemore.
