We’re officially heading into the last quarter of the year, and I’m walking into it with big faith, bigger goals, buttercream on my apron, and a DoorDash tablet that is about to be BUSY.

I’m putting it out there now: the Midnight Cake & Cookie Club is going to be profitable, successful, BOOKED & BUSY! Orders coming in, cakes going out, cookies disappearing, five-star reviews rolling in, and that little DoorDash tablet better get ready to DING DING DING! 😂🔔

There’s something beautiful about watching an idea that once lived only in your head slowly become real. One order at a time. One late night at a time. One cake slice at a time. 🥹🤎

So here’s to September. 🍁
Here’s to taking chances.
Here’s to believing before you have the proof.

There’s just something about the men who order cakes for the women they love. 💕 It never gets old.

This vintage-inspired heart cake was made for a new client who wanted to celebrate his partner, and I absolutely love getting these requests. Knowing someone trusts me to be a small part of such a special moment is something I’ll never take for granted.

Happy Birthday, Maya! I hope your day was filled with love, laughter, and lots of cake.

Not every cake comes together without a fight. 🍓🎂

Behind this cake were strawberries that refused to cooperate, buttercream that was tested, and a delivery that had me holding my breath in the summer heat. But that’s the beauty of this craft you adapt, you solve the problem, and you keep creating.

The finished cake made it safely to its destination, and that’s all that matters. Moments like these remind me that baking isn’t just about making something beautiful it’s about staying calm when things don’t go according to plan.

Every cake has a story. This one just happened to include a few stubborn strawberries. ❤️✨

Another Sunday at the Rancho Santa Fe Farmers Market is in the books! ☀️🍞

Every market teaches me something new, and every week I’m one step closer to building the artisan bread business I’ve been dreaming about.

The best part? Seeing repeat customers come back for their favorites and meeting so many new faces along the way. There is no better feeling than hearing, “I came back because I loved it!”

A huge thank you to Bryan and Lia for stopping by to support me. Your encouragement and support truly mean more than you know. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who stopped by my booth, sampled the breads, shared kind words, and took a loaf home. I’ll be back next Sunday with fresh artisan quick breads, cookies, and maybe a few surprises. 😉

Market Diaries: The Numbers Don’t Lie. 📊

Some weeks you sell out too early. Some weeks your booth placement changes everything. Some weeks remind you that business is about more than numbers.

✨ Rancho Santa Fe: $210 (and sold out in just 3 hours… which meant I left money on the table.)

✨ Oceanside Sunset Market: $389 total. Better than last week, but still far from where I was this time last year.

I also had a tough realization: lowering my prices doesn’t automatically increase sales. Sometimes the value was already there.

And after witnessing a tragic accident at the market last night, it really put everything into perspective. My heart goes out to everyone involved. ❤️

This series isn’t just about celebrating wins—it’s about showing the reality of entrepreneurship. The pivots. The lessons. The decisions. Because sometimes the smartest business move isn’t working harder… it’s working differently.

Market Diary: Rancho Santa Fe 🌿

Turns out I don’t need 47 products… I just need the right ones. 😂

🍌 Sold out of every loaf of banana walnut bread.
🍪 Sold out of every chocolate chip cookie.
🎨 Sold out of every decorated sugar cookie.

Total Sales: $250.94
Booth Fee: $34
Nothing came home. 🙌

A huge shout-out to my vendor neighbor for letting me use his hotspot all morning. I offered to help pay for it, but he wouldn’t take my money. So naturally… I bribed him with pizza instead. 🍕🤝

Every market teaches me something, and this one confirmed that a small, curated menu can be exactly what customers are looking for.

Next Sunday, I’m bringing more inventory. Let’s see if we can sell out again! 💛
