7 dozen cookies. Less than 24 hours. 🍪✨

The time frame was only possible because the designs were simple, elegant, and limited to just a few colors. Bonus surprise: my customer was a first-time customer, but we actually went to El Camino High School together!

A little slower than usual, but we still brought in $429 in sales across 45 transactions! We had front-row seats to some unexpected drama when officers had to remove a woman and her dog from the fountain before the market even got started. 😳

Between waffle tacos, decorated cookies, and another beautiful Oceanside sunset, we’re grateful for every customer who stopped by. 💕✨

First Sunday at Rancho Santa Fe Farmers Market ✔️

💰 $162 in sales
🏕️ $34 booth fee
📶 Internet issues (for everyone!)
☂️ Broken umbrella (just me 😂)
🍌 Banana walnut bread was the top seller
🍋 Lemon blueberry loaf stole the show 🫐

Lots of lessons learned, a few sales lost to spotty service, and the pink tent is coming next Sunday. Onward and upward!

Last night was a good one. 💕

52 transactions, 24 decorated sugar cookies sold, and $659 in net sales at the Oceanside Sunset Market!

This week I added Bluey, Hello Kitty, and Winnie the Pooh cookies alongside the waffle tacos, and customers loved having more options. My busiest hour was 6 PM, and I barely had time to film because we were so busy.

🌮 MARKET DIARIES: WAFFLE TACOS ARE BACK 🌮

Last night was my official return to the Oceanside Sunset Market with waffle tacos.

I’ll be honest… the numbers weren’t what I expected.

📊 30 orders
📊 $283 gross sales

I also ran a Memorial Day special and lowered my waffle tacos from $10 to $8, which definitely affected my average ticket.

But numbers don’t always tell the whole story.

I was surrounded by ice cream vendors, dessert vendors, and plenty of competition. Yet people kept stopping to watch me make the waffle tacos fresh right in front of them.

One of my favorite moments of the night was when a local food influencer stopped by and tried my Biscoff Cookie Butter Waffle Taco. His reaction was priceless.

Later, another vendor came over and told me he couldn’t stop talking about the waffle taco and had no idea I was making everything completely from scratch.

That’s the part that stuck with me.

Not the sales.

The fact that people remembered it.

The fact that they talked about it.

The fact that they understood this isn’t just another dessert booth.

And what most people don’t know is that I almost didn’t get into the market at all. As a non-permanent vendor, I wait and hope for an opening. A spot became available around 10 PM the night before, and I grabbed it.

So while this wasn’t the night I envisioned financially, it was a night of introductions.

The waffle tacos are back.

And Oceanside is starting to notice.

550 vendors. 🍓 One massive festival. One power issue. One exhausted business owner determined to make it work.

Vista Strawberry Festival taught me a lot.

$400 booth fee.
$90 electricity.
1 hour with no power.
60 waffle tacos sold.
$1,051 in sales.
$77 in tips.

Some lessons cost money. Some lessons build businesses.

POV: your bestie says “I trust you” and you accidentally create your best cake yet. 🌈✨

This pastel rainbow dream traveled over 2 hours to Torrance in California traffic as a full buttercream cake… and she arrived flawless for a very special little girl turning FOUR.

Every rainbow, cloud, unicorn, and hot air balloon detail was handcrafted with love and seeing her smile made every late night worth it.

Sometimes cake is more than dessert.
Sometimes it becomes part of the memory. 💕
