Friends, Lots of new Obie parents have been asking about ordering details. Let’s see if we can help 🤓

We absolutely DO take “special orders” (you pick the flavor) for cakes with at least a week’s notice. Same applies for cupcakes. With cupcakes we require at least a dz of each flavor.

HOWEVER, you can always choose (any number) from the cupcake flavors we have on hand each day.

If you do not have a full week’s notice you can call us the day you need the cake or cupcakes and we will be happy to tell you what flavors we have available that day. (Earlier in the morning is better. We open at 9:00.)

Please know, we TYPICALLY (like 99% of the time!) have extra cakes available each day but we cannot guarantee this.

We can write Happy Birthday on cakes that are ordered AND on last minute cakes (IF our bakers haven’t left for the day).

Our “decorations” are limited to simple rosettes and writing “Happy Birthday.” A great place to get an idea of what our cakes look like is on our Blue Rooster Bakehouse FB or Instagram pg.

As far as goodie boxes or assortments, we can absolutely do this the day of - no notice is needed. (As long as you are ok with picking from what we have available that day.) Just call us at #440-774-4833. We also have gift certificates!

7+ types of cookies
Sheetcake Bars
LOTS of pastry items (sweet & savory)
Chilled desserts (bars, tarts, etc.)
And more!

We also have Gluten Free and Vegan items daily. (NOT cakes or cupcakes though! Those must be ordered.)

We do not have a list of cake flavors as we add to our types weekly. We’ll make just about anything!

I (Wendy) get all emails and respond pretty quickly (unless it’s in the evening in which case I’ll respond the next morning).

With growth over the past 12 years we have added SO MANY cake flavors!! The folks that work up front want to help but It’s a LOT for them to be knowledgeable about and keep track of. Emailing allows me to speak w/you directly and help!

Another BONUS of this system is that it keeps all of our orders in one “place.” With growth comes more and more orders and this allows us to better keep things running smoothly.

***Please be mindful that if you are wanting to choose the flavor of the cake/cupcakes we do still ask for at least a week’s notice. This does not mean you can’t get a cake in less time, it just means that you’ll have to pick from what we have available.
