Anybody interested in a free ride in a helicopter for 4 people?! I'm still looking for 2 more people to join us. We leave early Saturday (October 31st) morning from Knoxville, TN and will fly to Myrtle Beach, SC where we will have breakfast and then on to Charleston, SC to a yacht for lunch.

Then, we’ll do a flight along the coast to see Myrtle Beach, returning to Charleston for dinner, then fly back home.

🚨 CINNA-CRISIS AVERTED! 🫪🤣

Y'ALL!! When I say this cinnamon bread has been leaving the stand faster than gossip spreads in a small town, I MEAN IT! 💀🤣

We've been doing our absolute best to keep up with demand, but apparently keeping cinnamon bread in stock isn't our only problem... WE GOTTA KEEP THE DANG BAKING PANS IN STOCK TOO! 🫣

Well, today I happened to check our pan inventory and about had a whole cardiac event right there in the kitchen.

SEVEN.

YUP. 7 BAKING PANS LEFT! 😭💀

INSTANT PANIC MODE ACTIVATED! 🚨

So there I go, hauling tail to Hobby Lobby, praying to the cinnamon bread gods that they've restocked since the last time we cleaned them out.

AND THANK THE HEAVENS, THEY DID! 🙌🤣

So naturally, we cleaned them out AGAIN! 🫣💀

At this point, Hobby Lobby is probably wondering who in the hell keeps buying all their baking pans. 🤣

It's me. Hi. I'm the problem. IT'S ME! 💁‍♂️

Anyway, crisis avoided, pans secured, and the cinnamon bread madness continues! ❤️

Y'all are keeping this little kitchen BUSY, and I wouldn't have it any other way! 🥹❤️

So there I was, minding my own business in the grocery store. 🤣❤️

Just strolling down the aisles, grabbing what I needed, when I turned the corner and what do I see?! 👀

Well, needless to say, 4 boxes went straight into the buggy because OF COURSE THEY DID! 🤣

And y’all know what that means! 🤭

Our infamous Lil Deb No-Bake Cheesecake is making its seasonal return to the stand! 🍰❤️

Will it be tomorrow? Maybe the next day? Or perhaps a little Saturday special? 👀

Well, if y’all haven't figured it out by now, I bake and make whatever my little heart tells me to. 🤣❤️

Sometimes even I don't know what's coming to the stand until I find myself standing in the grocery store with 4 boxes of something in my buggy! 🤭

There is no other way to bake or in this case, make Banana Puddin’. Here at Mamaw’s Bread & Farm Stand, every thing we make and every last spoonful of puddin’ is made from scratch with these two hands and a whole heap of that Mamaw style love. 🥹

Ain’t no boxed mixins crossin’ this kitchen threshold. Matter of fact, that’s one of Mamaw’s Ten Southern Baking Commandments:

“Thou shalt not use boxed mixins not now, not ever!”

So if you’ve been wonderin’ whether we go the shortcut route round here, go on and toss that thought straight in the trash bin where it belongs.

Mamaw didn’t do use box mixes and neither will we. Not now not ever 💛✨

🥪❤️ A LITTLE UPDATE ON OUR SAMMIES!

Y'all remember yesterday's post about our chicken and egg salad sandwiches? Well, we wanted to give everyone a little update!

As many of you know, someone reached out to the Health Department regarding our plans to offer sandwiches. 🙄

We've since had a very nice conversation with the Health Department, and it appears there may be some differences in understanding the current Tennessee laws.

And y'all, that's okay! ❤️ Laws change, regulations evolve, and keeping up with everything isn't always easy. We certainly don't hold that against anyone.

We have nothing but respect for our Health Department and the important work they do to keep our community safe. At the end of the day, we're all working toward the same goal: making sure the food our neighbors enjoy is safe.

While we believe Tennessee law allows us to offer these sandwiches, we'd much rather take a little extra time to work together than create unnecessary confusion or additional work for anyone.

We've always believed that working together gets us a whole lot further than working against one another. ❤️

So, for now, we're going to be patient, keep those conversations going, and wait until we're all on the same page.

And once we get that green light, y'all better believe those sammies are coming! 🥪🤗

In the meantime, there's still plenty of homemade goodness waiting for you at the stand!
