Happy Wednesday!

It’s time for a check-in.
As we are journeying into summer, we thought it would be a perfect time to switch things up.

Since most long posts, people don’t read… so let me start by saying, we will still be offering custom cakes! Just not as many…

We are making some changes with Bea Sweet Treats that should hopefully help more people in the long run, ourselves included!

Running a small business is hard and takes so much time, but when you have an amazing staff like we do, we want to utilize them and their talents! We will be focusing on case items such as pop tarts, more fun bars and cookies, case cakes, cupcakes, cake slices, cheesecakes and more! Often times our customers have been asking for walk-in cake options and more daily treats. This is where our focus will be shifting.
We will still have custom cakes and weddings etc, but cutting those orders down so that it frees up some time for Stephanie and Me.

Custom cakes take a lot of time!!! Especially when most of our inquiries are AI or ChatGPT cakes that are not real! Most we can make something similar, but the expectations from what is found online has taken the fun and love out of doing cakes. Honestly, we are burnt out….
So, below we have listed policies that we will be strict on for our sanity and appreciate your understanding 💛

Personally, I am tired and want so badly to have a little more time with my babies! Time is going so fast, and not getting maternity leave and having to put them second due to the massive amounts of custom orders is just too much! It’s time to put my babies and husbands first.
My love and original plan for the bakery was to be a Dessert Shop that happens to do cakes. I want people to be able to come in for a fun slice or tart etc just like Dessert After Dark, just not on as big of a scale daily.

Stephanie is entering a time of adventure. She is still working, but Mr. Post is stepping into his well deserved retirement and they would like to be able to be spontaneous here and there!

These changes will not mean that we are closing, leaving, etc… But will mean that our staff gets to shine!!!
Stay tuned as we have a few things that we will be launching soon such as a catering menu, weekly cupcake flavors that can be ordered anytime etc!

Since it is such a popular night, we will be opening at 4:30 in order to help serve more people! We will be open til 9 or until we are out of ice cream!
