Sometimes small wins are actually big wins. Post-IDDBA, we've been testing GF naturally-dyed sprinkles to replace the artificially-dyed rainbow sprinkles we'd been using in our Unicorn Cookies. We found some we loved (hooray!🎉🎉🎉), but then we had to make sure we could buy them in the quantities we need for scaled production... ie, not 2000lbs, but also not 15oz. 🙄

After months of testing and sourcing and emailing, we finally got news this week that our favorite sprinkles are available in the amounts we need!!

As a baker, I'm often asked if I have a favorite cookbook. Hands down, it's this one.

You haven't had ice cream until you've had Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams and you haven't had ice cream until you make it yourself. I said what I said.

Every recipe in this book is a keeper and every recipe is equally adaptable. This past weekend, I took her Buckeye State Ice Cream (peanut butter ice cream w/ chocolate flecks) and tweaked it into this Peanut Butter & Jelly Ice Cream.

Annnnnd, now I can have ice cream for lunch! 🙌😋🙌

Just to prove, it's not always about cookies here. Sometimes we make ice cream, too.

Facts.

Butter + Sugar exists because some people ONLY need to be gluten-free. They don't need to avoid eggs. They don't need to avoid dairy. They can tolerate soy, nuts, even refined sugar.

We recognize that some people do have multiple dietary restrictions... and there are brands for them. We are just not one of them.

We are gluten-free and only gluten-free. We do use dairy. We do use egg. It's the combination of these ingredients that help to make our crunchy + chewy and something that gluten-free folks can proudly share with their gluten-eating friends.

Because some people ONLY need to be gluten-free .. and we can't wait to be able to share Butter + Sugar with them! 😋

One last AMAZING find from . These baguettes from Greenlite Gluten-Free Artisan Bread are bonkers good! As they say, "So Good It's Gluten-Free."

It's a take-n-bake product, just defrost, heat, and serve. Great for dipping in olive oil. Great for sandwiches. I mean, just plain GREAT! Better than any GF baguette I've ever tried, and that includes in Italy!

I highly recommend trying it if you see it in stores. And, if you see it in stores, TELL ME WHERE!! I need more! 😋
