Aight so boom… IYKYK! 🇯🇲🔥 Some of the BEST jerk chicken in Harlem is coming straight off the grill at Kingston Kitchen, right in front of the State Building on 7th Ave. Smoke in the air, chicken on the grill. No fancy setup. Just GOOD food.

💎 FAT Tip: If you see that smoke coming down 25th, follow it. Get the jerk chicken.

6 years. And yeah, we’re proud of that. 🖤

We started with plans written on a piece of paper. Packing our first shipped orders from our living room. Figuring out boxes, bags, shipping and how to turn what we had into what we knew it could be.

No blueprint. Just a foundation, a good ass brownie and the belief that we could build something.

Most businesses don’t make it this far. Black-owned businesses face even greater odds just getting through those early years.

So SIX years? We’re celebrating that.

Every old photo reminds us that at one point, what we have now was just an idea on that piece of paper.

And we kept going.

Happy 6 years to the little FAT girl. 🎉

Aight boom… wanna know how we got the name the little FAT girl? 👀

We get asked about the name ALL the time, so when we pulled up to FOX 5, of course we had to get into it. 😂

I’ve always loved to eat. Always hungry, always thinking about food, always the little piglet. 😂 Pregnancy just amplified it.

One day I was rubbing my belly, thinking about how much I was eating, and the little FAT girl just popped into my head.

It was catchy, a little provocative, and I knew it was the one. And nah, it was never about physicality. It’s a mindset that was already in me.

Be honest, do you ever think about dinner while you’re eating breakfast like me? 😂🍽️🖤

🗂️ Save this for your next trip to New Orleans ⚜️

Aight so boom… Loretta’s was already on our list before we touched down and it was EVERYTHING we thought it would be. Loretta knows WTF she doing in there 😂🔥

The crab beignet? One of the BEST bites we’ve ever had. Period. The praline beignet tasted like heaven, and of course we grabbed a praline and sweet potato cookie for the road.

💎 FAT Tip: Skip the French Quarter location and hit Loretta’s on Rampart & Frenchmen. More savory options and when we went, barely a line.
