One of the most creative, genuine, loving, and talented people I know.

A beautiful spirit with a kind soul who continues to inspire not only me, but everybody lucky enough to experience her gifts. From the cakes, the brownies, the vision, the creativity… to the beautiful life we built together and our amazing Yummy.

Watching her continue to push TLFG to new heights while still showing up with love, grace, and authenticity will forever inspire me.

Y’all only see the finished product… but behind the scenes it was a lot of back and forth, delays, and learning in real time.

Samples that weren’t right. Pricing that didn’t make sense. Mistakes that cost time we couldn’t get back. Had to switch suppliers.

But we stayed with it, flipped it, reversed it, and redesigned by us, to make sure it felt like us.

We’re building something we’re proud of 🖤

Business Owner Chronicles Ep. 12 | Collaboration in Business

We really built this out. Full concept. TLFG food tour. Took it on the road to NC with two restaurants locked in. Marketing plan ready. Product ready. Back and forth communication. People ready to pull up.

Last minute both spots canceled.

I ain’t gonna hold you, That one hurt. But what’s meant for us is meant for us🙏🏾

The idea was solid. Collaboration like that is a win win. You bring your people, they bring theirs, and y’all create something bigger together. New energy, new audience, real buzz and growth for both brands.

We scrapped it for a while but regrouped. Later in the year we tapped in with and that collab was everything we imagined.

So the plan is still the plan. Just gotta run it back the right way.

We started this series to show what building a business in real time really looks like.

Quietly… we been putting in work.

Not just flippin and reversing our Brownie Boxes (which are finally BACK)… all our bags got touched too.
Redesigned. Tweaked. Reworked until it felt like us.

No big team. No shortcuts.
Just ideas, creativity, and 2 folks and the BIG Homie upstairs👆🏾figuring it out in real time.
