Hey 😊
I haven't been baking because it's too hard to keep my starter alive on top of trying to be a good mom in a fascist nation, watching Americans be executed in the street, waiting for the fu***ng Epstein files to be released (ope, just dropped!), sowing seeds for our garden...
But my kid has been begging for waffles so we made sourdough waffles this morning. How poetic that my single waffle iron happens to be a snowflake.
I've been crashing out on my personal page for quite some time. I can't stand opening apps just to be bombarded with everyone trying to sell you something while ignoring what is happening. So I'm not posting to sell you anything. If you support anything this administration is doing to our country, do not support my business. Today starts a general strike across the country. I can't tell you how to spend your money but maybe stop giving it to billionaires. 🫶

✨️ SURPRISE ✨️
We are moving! You can still place your JULY Friday orders for pick up at our current address. Orders for this Friday close tonight at 9 pm.
After a short hiatus in August, I'll be baking in a new kitchen. 🤩 Orders will be available to pick up in Mount Pleasant, just 10 minutes north from where we are now!

It's hard to believe that next week is already ✨️ONE YEAR✨️ since I started my Simply Bread shop! So here's an introduction since it's been a while.

Hi. I'm Sara. Owner, baker, and SAHM of mom's bread. I started baking sourdough a few years ago for health reasons and loved every step (except dishes!!). My then 3 year old started asking for "mom's bread with butter" and the name stuck.

Thanks to everyone who has kept me busy this last year and for being so accommodating with pick ups at the end of my pregnancy (he is a very happy 4 month old now btw!).
