💜💚 PURPLE VELVET CAKE: BAKED WITH LOVE, PURPOSE & A STORY 💜
The process is REAL! 😁💜 And I love EVERYTHING about baking! From measuring every ingredient to mixing, pouring, baking, and decorating, I believe every step matters. And taking shortcuts? That’s a NO for me! 👩🏾🍳🎂
This beautiful Purple Velvet Cake with Turquoise Cream Cheese Frosting was created especially for a friend’s birthday. She requested purple, and I was more than happy to bring her vision to life. 💜💚
But isn’t it something how God can place a little extra meaning in an ordinary moment? 💜✨
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and purple represents something deeply personal to me because I am a SURVIVOR. 💜
Behind my smile, my love for baking, and the woman I am today is a story of strength, healing, faith, and resilience. I know what it means to face difficult seasons and still find the courage to keep going.
Today, I celebrate more than a beautiful cake. I celebrate the woman I’ve become, the life I’ve rebuilt, and the joy I’ve found in doing something I absolutely LOVE.
Through My Ancestors’ Bakery, I get to pour tradition into every pan, create beautiful memories, and share a little piece of my heart through every creation. 🧁❤️
And if my journey reminds even ONE person that there is life, love, peace, and purpose after abuse, then sharing my story is worth it.
To every survivor reading this: Your past does not define you. Your voice matters. Your life matters. And your story isn’t over. 💜
May we continue to celebrate birthdays, honor our journeys, raise awareness, and remind one another that survival is powerful, healing is possible, and joy is worth embracing!
