Things got fancy at the curb market today! I brought Gateau Basque, which is a dessert that originated in the Basque region of France. It has two buttery pastry crusts with a filling of vanilla pastry cream between them. Slices went quickly today, but I’ll bring it again next week.

It’s a beautiful day to stop by the Montgomery Curb Market. I brought chocolate and red velvet hearts today, and will have some next week as well. You can order ahead by texting or calling me at 334-467-0370.

January is for trying out new things, so today I made coconut macaroons for coconut loving folks. I’m not a fan of shredded coconut though, so had to have someone else taste them.

These chocolate chip cookies coated with dark chocolate peppermint bark are unique and delicious. Chocolate crinkle cookies are always a great gift idea because they’re both pretty and delicious.
