Y’all are KILLING me with these last-minute orders. 🥴
I believe this is about my THIRD call in 5 days asking for a cake with less than 24 hours’ notice. I love y’all, and when I’m able to make it happen, I will—but we have to talk about what a true rush order actually requires.
When you contact me needing a cake or treats in less than 24 hours, I’m not just squeezing another cake into my schedule. If I accept your order, I have to completely rearrange my entire day, stop what I’m doing, go shopping for ingredients and supplies as soon as payment is received, come back home, bake, decorate, package, clean up, and still handle everything else that was already scheduled for that day.
And please remember—I’m also a mama. ❤️ I still have a child to pick up, take care of, and feed and he is in sports. I’m not about to hand my baby a hot dog or sandwich for dinner because somebody remembered at 5:00 today that they need a cake tomorrow. 😂
All jokes aside, rush orders require extra time, extra planning, extra trips, and a complete restructuring of my schedule.
In the past, I’ve accommodated a lot of last-minute requests without charging what I truly should have for the turnaround. Moving forward, I have to be fair to myself, my family, and the customers who place their orders in advance.
🚨 NEW RUSH ORDER POLICY 🚨
Any cake or treat order requested with LESS THAN 24 HOURS’ NOTICE that I am able to accommodate will have an additional $75 (minimum) rush fee.
Please understand: paying a rush fee is a separate fee from the original cost of your order.
Example: Heart Cake-$100
Rush fee- $75
Total- $175
Availability will depend on my existing schedule and whether I can realistically complete your order without sacrificing the quality of your desserts.
I truly appreciate every single person who supports Sweet Tooth Perfection. Y’all keep me busy, and I’m grateful! ❤️ But moving forward, emergency cake situations are going to come with emergency cake prices. 😂🎂
Please plan ahead whenever possible, and thank y’all for understanding!
