From calling 211 to baking for 211. 🩷🧁 Talk about a full circle moment!

Last friday, I had the pleasure of making cupcakes for the Greater Twin Cities United Way 211 Appreciation Picnic.

During Operation Metro Surge, when my business was at a standstill, I called 211 looking for resources to help me navigate a really difficult season. They connected me with resources that helped me keep moving forward.

And now, I get to make cupcakes for the incredible people who answer that call for others🩷

POV: It's my birthday... and I'm spending it making baby shower cupcakes and cake pops! 🧁🎉💕

Some people take the day off... I spend mine covered in buttercream, sprinkles, and a whole lot of gratitude. 💗

Honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way. There's something so special about getting to create desserts that make someone else's celebration even sweeter. Watching my business continue to grow year after year is the best birthday gift I could ask for.

Feeling incredibly blessed to celebrate another trip around the sun doing what I truly love. Thank you to every single person who has trusted me to be a small part of your biggest moments—from baby showers to birthdays and everything in between. You make this dream possible! 🥹✨👶🧁💙💖

Juneteenth week was a beautiful blur in the best way 🤎✨️

We kicked things off at Grand Casino Arena with tea cakes --the official dessert of Juneteenth--hosted by Minnesota Sports, Entertainment and St. Paul Arena Company. Year two of being invited back, and I don't take that lightly.

We also had the honor of sweetening celebrations at Meet Minneapolis and Nucleus Clinic, and a special thank you to J Murphy & Associates --I didn't get a chance to sn**ch a picture because things were moving fast, but I truly appreciate the support.

In between deliveries, I stopped by the Rooted and Radiant event hosted by Black Collective Foundation MN for a quick moment (because ovens don't pause🤣). It was a beautiful celebration to be around, and I'm hopeful that next year I'll be able to provide the sweet treats for it as well. I closed the week out with a wedding...but that deserves it's own post.

More than anything, I got to spend Juneteenth week doing what I love most--creating moments for other people's celebrations.

Created this custom retirement cake for in their signature brand colors to celebrate an employee's two decades of dedication, leadership and hard work. Because after 20 years of showing up and putting in the work, the sweet ending should look just as iconic💫

I am late posting but...whew, THIS night deserved a moment 😯🔥✨️

"I know I'm coming...they know I'm coming..." and the energy? It delivered.

The Open House was everything. Out of the four featured vendors, I was told my table was the most popular- and honestly, I felt every bit of that love all night. The connections, the conversations, the opportunities already unfolding...this was one of those rooms that I was excited to be in.

I'm grateful to officially collab with as their dessert vendor in this venue- this is just the beginning🍰✨️

And the cherry on top? Being invited to stay as a guest for the VIP dinner...yeah, that last clip says it all. When your work speaks for you and the room makes space for you❤️
