I’ve been thinking a lot about comfort this week — the kind we offer each other, and the kind we create with our hands. The passing of Dolly Parton and Tim Curry has sat heavy with me. Two larger‑than‑life spirits who made the world feel warmer, funnier, and more possible. Losing them both in the same week has reminded me how much we rely on one another for steadiness.

So we cooked. Two soups, made with intention and care, coming with us to the farmers market on Saturday. MOR will be there, ready to welcome you, ready to feed you, ready to offer a little gentleness in a week that’s felt unexpectedly tender.

Over the eight years we’ve been open, we’ve lived the full spectrum of small‑business life — the heartaches that shape us, the celebrations that lift us, the friendships that root us, and the everyday moments that remind us why we began. Daily life touches each of us differently, and yet somehow, we all meet in the same place: inside these four walls, where intention and care live in every corner.

As I look at the road ahead, I’m filled with gratitude for every person who has joined our path — those who found us, supported us, shared our name with others, and helped this little bakery become a place where people feel seen, welcomed, and nourished.

When I started this adventure, my hope was simple: to make life a little easier for others. And the way we do that is by baking for the world with love, care, commitment, integrity, and compassion. One small item at a time. Every hour of every day we’re open. It’s our promise, woven into everything I do and everything MOR stands for.

MOR is a hands‑on bakery working out of our 100% gluten‑free kitchen in Milwaukee, where everything is made from scratch and built with whole gluten‑free grains. We focus on small batch, clean ingredients, and recipes that welcome everyone to the table.

Order pickups happens at Bavaria Sausage in Fitchburg, they’ve opened their space to MOR customers at no charge, making Madison pre‑orders possible.

Pre‑orders help us bake with intention — reducing waste, planning labor, and keeping our weekly rhythm grounded and our prices affordable.
