This week my custom order was for an espresso martini themed bridal shower (congratulations! 💍) The ombré tower came out so aesthetically pleasing 😍 If you know me, you know I don’t snack on Macs, but I’m so glad I had two extras to try. The almond raz is always the customer favorite, but you all are sleeping on that chocolate espresso ganache! It was DELICIOUS! And not too sweet. Yum!! 🤤

I had the great honor of making a cookie set for a friend from many years ago, and through this cookie biz, we were able to reconnect! So fun! This mama-to-be and her husband ordered “A Berry Sweet Baby is on the way” decorated sugar cookies, and some berry-themed Macs (of course!)

This was a fun challenge! A Mac order to match the four bridesmaid dress colors. I usually wait until after an event to post because I don’t want to ruin any surprise, but the Mother of the Bride gasped when she saw the color match and told me I *must* post them! All four colors were matched using different ratios of only red, black, brown and royal blue. Mixed from scratch… eyeballing it 😍🫠🎀

Had the pleasure to make this Baby in Bloom baby shower decorated sugar cookie set for a mama soon to have her first baby girl. She had inspo pics, and a color palate but gave me room to be creative - a creator’s dream 🥰 🤩 🌸🌾

Five years ago Kara Niemela-Foti invited me to do my first *ever* pop-up. It was for the first anniversary of Karascene and it really changed The Mac Dealer from a hobby between my friends and family to an actual business. Thousands of macarons later, I’ll forever be thankful to Kara for seeing potential in me and giving me so many opportunities to pop-up at her shop!

Kara has always been a huge encourager of small businesses, local business, and local charities!!! She has drives going on right now for several local charities and this Saturday has 6th Anniversary things planned at the shop. I would consider it a personal favor if you would support her charities this week by bringing in donations to the shop, or swing by Saturday and buy something from her shop or Tony’s coffee cart!!

The Mac Dealer tag line is “small batch, big heart,” and in that theme, anyone who donates to Kara’s charity drives this week, or shops at Karascene this week and sends me a pic of them with Kara, her husband Tony of Stellar Grounds Coffee Cart or a pic of their receipt will get a voucher for a free 6-pack of Macs from a 2025 pop-up or holiday menu - not towards custom orders. Pics or it didn’t happen 😂 I appreciate you, Kara and Tony!! Here’s to the next 6 years! 🥳🥳
