Happy Saturday! It feels great to be decorating cookies again! My apologies to all those I had to turn away while my kitchen was closed for foundation repairs. But it was imperative that we get the repairs completed before any further damage occurred. Now that repairs are completed (16 piers installed), I can get back to the fun stuff!

What better way to get back into the swing of things than with a pair of dinosaurs for party favors. Happy Birthday to Eugene!

Perfect weather for this wintery dinosaur set that went out the door yesterday. I wasn't sure if my vision was going to come together as I planned, but I think it turned out pretty good! YAY!!

I just noticed that this Texas Santa never got posted. This one was just for me, but he will DEFINITELY make a reappearance next year! Maybe with his reindeer armadillo friend. LOL!

Did anyone hear jingle bells? Well, I just did! 37 of them to be exact. 😁 The sweetest customer just picked these up! It was our first time to meet, but she is the kind of person that just feels like a best friend from the moment you meet her. ❤ These were a vanilla sugar cookie with a cookie nip (vanilla & salted caramel) icing. She requested an old-fashioned, traditional, bell without all of the gold bling. I added a touch of brown luster dust to give them a bit of a rustic feel. While I am usually pro-bling, these were one of my favorites. LOL!

Another set went out today. It was a variety of traditional/nostalgic Christmas cookies... with a few Red Hots candies added in (a sweet memory of the customer's childhood). These were vanilla sugar cookie with vanilla icing. I hope they bring a little Christmas magic to their holiday celebration!

This one is being picked up tomorrow. I really have fallen in love with this snowman cutter! It is the same one used for the Baby It's Cold Outside set. Hoping you can tell those are deer in the snow globes (and not dogs). 🧐😜 Tomorrow... Santas!!

Happy 17th Birthday to Zoe!! I finally got the opportunity to do a general "Birthday" set with some extra gold bling! I really liked the cake slice cookie. (Inspiration taken from Pinterest.)

Almost forgot to post this one! Mixing maroon is NO joke! I can't tell you how much I stressed over this color. 😆 I finally got it right and then I just held my breath, crossed my fingers, and hoped that it didn't develop color bleed from oversaturation. I finished these at 4am and then keep checking them every couple of hours to look for any signs of color bleed. I felt like a first-time parent with a newborn. 😂

Happy Birthday to Violet! Violet likes mermaids (I do too!). This was a fun set for me. There are so many great mermaid variations to do, and I look forward to a chance to do another one. Hoping these make her day extra special. ❤

Happy Birthday to Ryan! Ryan is a Minecraft expert, so I had to consult with my 23-year-old son to make sure that the characters were authentic to the game. There are so many mods out there and I had NO clue which ones were real. I now know a bit more about Minecraft than when I started. 😆

Thanks to a great turnout, I sold out of cookies today. YAY! I will not be at Fiber Fest tomorrow. However, Button-N-Boo (my aunt) still has some beautiful inventory of custom-made Harris Tweed handbags, Harris Tweed fabric, and some gorgeous project bags. They would make fabulous Christmas gifts! ❤
