Today’s lesson: Your car is NOT a cake refrigerator.

You picked up your cake. It’s beautiful. It’s safe. Now PLEASE take it home!

“But I just need to run into H-E-B real quick…” 😐 No. Take the cake home first.

“We’re just going to grab dinner before the party…” 😒
Not with the cake sitting in the car, you’re not.

Even when it doesn’t feel that hot outside, the inside of a parked car heats up FAST — and buttercream does not appreciate the Texas heat.

Keep the A/C on while transporting your cake and take it straight to its destination.

Because nothing ruins a celebration quite like opening the box and discovering your beautiful cake has decided to become a slip ’n slide.

First lesson: Getting your cake home in one piece.

If you are picking up your cake alone, keep it on a FLAT SURFACE in your vehicle — preferably the floorboard. (And by preferably we mean ONLY on the floorboard 🤣)

Turn that A/C on! Your cake likes a cold vehicle. ❄️

And whatever you do, DO NOT PUT IT ON YOUR MIDDLE CONSOLE! Yes, men, I’m talking to you!! Will one of y'all explain that thought process to us please?! 😂

Take those turns nice and easy, brake gently, and please...
DON’T drive it like you stole it! 🤣

Follow these simple rules and your cake has a much better chance of looking just as pretty when you get home as it did when it left Sweet & Tasty.
