Small update...
As of right now, you can contact Shar like usual. You can call/text 417-631-3596 or pm her right here on the IOTC fb page. She may change her phone number at some point, but will update her new number if/when that happens.
Thank you to all of you who have commented since last night. We really appreciate your kind words and Shar looks forward to creating special goodies for you in the future.

Good evening all,
We are a couple of months shy of being open 5 years, so it saddens me to say Shar has decided to close Icing On The Cake. Our last open day will be December 23rd, 2017.
Why, why, why you ask? Shar and her family are moving to Ash grove. It's time to close this chapter in our lives and start a new one.
It has been a fun, interesting and sometimes stressful (almost) 5 years. Mostly fun though. We have gotten to know a really great bunch of people over the years and become friends with some too. We've had a ton of great laughs between ourselves (a lot) and with our customers. You would think, that we as mother and daughter, spending so much time together would have driven each other over the edge, but you would be wrong. It has been really great working with my amazing daughter! A fantastic experience! I have seen Shar do some amazing things on cakes and cupcakes for people. It can be mesmerizing to watch her decorate something from start to finish. But, don't worry...Shar will still be decorating! You will just need to give her 1 - 2 weeks notice via text, ph. call or private message her on her personal fb page and possibly be willing to drive to Springfield to pick up, which really isn't that far for a great cake! Give it a try sometime.
We so very much appreciate all of your business over the years, especially the repeat customers and there have been a lot! And for all the very kind words and comments over the years. We wouldn't have survived without you! So please, don't hesitate to send Shar a text or give her a call if you are in need of a cake, cupcakes and maybe cakepops. If she can, she will be more than happy to help you out. Feel free to stop in Wednesdays thru Saturdays between now and the 23rd to say hi and/or pm us right here to get Shar's contact info for your future orders.

Happy Saturday Marshfield!
We want to let everyone know we will be closed the week of Thanksgiving. The 19th thru 28th. So, if you would like to order something for next week, we would appreciate your order no later than Monday evening. If you were thinking of getting a cake or cupcakes for any time the week we are closed, you can order by Monday and pick up next Saturday and freeze your order. Cakes and cupcakes freeze well and taste just fine when thawed. After next weekend, we will re-open the 29th at 8:00am.
Also, we have the "Marshopoly" gameboards if you are interested in playing. Simply take the gameboard to all the businesses on the board, get signatures, drop off your completed gameboard at the business of the last signature, to be entered to win $250.00. And who doesn't need $250.00 before Christmas? Good luck! Have a great weekend!

Just want to remind everyone of the 'Cupcake Challenge' tonight from 6:30 to 8:00 at the Garst Memorial Library. (Marshfield library). We want to let everyone know that Friends of the Library are having a Cupcake Challenge event this Thursday evening from 6:30 - 8:00 at the Library here in Marshfield. Bring the kids and stop in for a chance to win some awesome cupcakes!
There will be cupcakes for tasting and you vote for your favorite. There are 3 categories to consider...Taste, Cupcake Design and Presentation! There will be 4 or 5 bakers represented, so stop in and have some fun!

Good morning Marshfield!
It's a gorgeous Saturday! We have lots of muffins and we have some Halloween themed sugar cookies in the case, as well as cakepops and some cupcakes. The cupcakes are 2/.50. What a deal! We will be here until 1:00 today. Stop on by and pick up breakfast. See you soon!

Good morning! HAPPY Hump Day! Come and get them while they last! Muffins! We will keep a few out and the rest in the freezer, so if you come in, but don't see any just ask. Happy Friday! We just want to let everyone know we will be closed tomorrow Saturday, Oct. 7th, (except for the 2 pick ups we have). BUT we will have a booth at the Rust Revival event being put on by The Shabby Sheep.. from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. It will be either on the field behind the MAC or inside the MAC or both inside and out (depending on weather).
We will have muffins, cakepops, cupcakes, coffee and hot chocolate. So come on by. Check out the vendors and grab a sweet treat! We would love to see you!

Happy Friday everyone!
We just want to let you know we will be closed tomorrow, Saturday August 19th. If you would like to place an order for a pick up any time next week between Wednesday Aug. 23rd to Saturday Aug. 26th, you might want to do that now. Next week slots are filling fast. The best way to order is to call, come in to the shop (today until 4:00) or message us right here on our fb page. We WILL get back to you, if not immediately, then over the weekend.
Also, we want to let everyone know that even though we don't keep muffins in the case anymore, you can still order them. Please give us at least 2 days notice and there is a minimum purchase of 6. Cupcakes we keep on hand, but frozen. So if you want to stop in for cupcakes some time and want to eat it right away, just call about 20 to 30 min. ahead and we will get it ready for you.
We also have cakepops on hand (almost always) in the cold case as well as Truffles. Cakepop flavors are red velvet, yellow cake and chocolate, dipped in blues, milk choc. (brown), yellow and pink. Truffle flavors are Milk chocolate Raspberry, Dark Chocolate Coconut and Salted caramel Chocolate. Is your mouth watering yet? 😀
