Happy Easter everyone! It's been such a joy to bake for you this week. Thank you for letting me bring bread to your tables and sweets to your gatherings this year.

The Bake Stand was pretty slow today with the storm we had this morning, but that's Spring for ya! 🌦️

Normally, any excess sourdough loaves are how I "pay" Robert's chickens for all my farm fresh eggs.🥚 (Who knew chickens loved sourdough?!)

This week's bread turned out so lovely and with everyone celebrating this weekend, I'm hoping that my bread can go to some family tables here in the community- as a thank you for all the support you've shown me so far. The offer is open to absolutely anyone. 🩵

✨🫧 Spring Cleaning 🫧✨

I don't know who needs to hear this, but it's time to deep clean that fridge!Pull out the drawers, pull the shelves out too... and don't forget the top!

If you have time, pull out the fridge and the stove and clean behind them, scrub out your sinks and the oven, and clean your dishwasher filter.

(I'm finding that a lot of people didn't know you're supposed to clean your dishwasher filter - did you know?)

Clean kitchens mean healthy and safe food for everyone!

💛Yellow Rose & Gold Lace Cake 💛

It's safe to say that "Deep in the heart of Texas" was in repeat in my head the entire time I decorated this cake 😂 IYKYK

I've been so busy lately with The Blue Bake Stand that I haven't been posting much for The Bakehouse. But this cake for the 80th birthday of a lady from Texas was so pretty that I had to get glamour shots!

The cake itself is 3 layers of vanilla sponge with cream cheese flavor American buttercream. The decor is gold lace with yellow piped buttercream roses dusted with a bit of gold and a gold acrylic cake topper.

Thank you so much for your order Ruth! I hope your MIL and your family had a great time celebrating at Ferguson's Country Store!

Searcy County! Help me find this customer please!

I need help finding a woman who visited The Blue Bake Stand in Marshall today. She was blonde and wearing a gray long-sleeve sweatshirt with a "Maui Brewing Co" logo, driving a white extended cab truck.

The Blue Bake Stand is only just into its second week, so I'm still working out a few kinks. Unfortunately, this means a few bumps in the road for my customers. This woman had a bad experience at The Blue Bake Stand today. 😔

It's awful when you want your treats and the technology Just. Won't WORK. I'm pretty sure I've fixed the problem, but I need to find this customer to make sure I've fixed the entire problem, and so I can make her whole for her trouble.

If you are friends with this woman (or if you ARE this woman 😁) please message me. I'd like to get her on the list for a free loaf of sourdough of her choice for next week.

I'm so excited that I can finally share this with everyone! I've been working really hard to bring something for everyone here in Searcy County- living here and baking in Marshall means so much to me. 🩵

I'm so excited for this latest launch- The Blue Bake Stand. It's definitely a bit different from what I usually bring you. It's a faster paced, grab & go, single-serving type of setup...and I just know you're going to love it as much as I love baking for you.

🩵Introducing... The Blue Bake Stand at The Bakehouse!🩵

I wanted to open up this bake stand for those of you who just want to grab a single item, something for the drive home, or a few goodies to kick off the weekend.

I'm so excited to be expanding my little business beyond premium custom cakes and cupcakes and decorated sugar cookies that The Bakehouse has become known for. The Blue Bake Stand will offer single-serving, grab & go items and fresh breads at accessible prices, while keeping that same taste and quality you expect from The Bakehouse items.

Here's how it works:

🩵The Honor System-
The Blue Bake Stand runs on the honor system. I trust in my community to shop and pay for their bakes the way we would at an old-fashioned farmstand.

🩵The Goods-
Every week the menu will change a bit, but the vibe will stay the same- fresh breads and single-serve treats to give everyone a taste of The Bakehouse, ready and waiting to make your weekend sweet. Pre-ordering will be available for most menu items, but it is not necessary. There will be bakes available to browse every weekend!

🩵Payments Made Simple
You can pay with cash, or scan a QR code (posted inside the stand) and checkout on my website with debit, credit or CashApp.

🩵Fresh Menus
--Menus will be posted every Monday at 8am on socials (which will open pre-orders for the week. Again, pre-ordering is available for convenience, but not a requirement.)
--Pre-orders will close at 8am on Thursdays.
--The Blue Bake Stand will be open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays 10am-6pm.
--Preorders will be bagged, labeled and placed in the Bake Stand at 10am on the day of pickup unless other arrangements are made.
