Operation Get Grandma was a success! It was not easy flying so far with someone so frail (and there was some sprinting with a wheelchair involved in Minneapolis to make our connection), but I can breathe easy now that she's in Manlius and getting the attention she needs and deserves. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for all the beautiful comments and well-wishes for this adventure. I am so grateful to my sourdough bunch for your love and encouragement. -Gloria

Just a reminder that we won't be doing Thursday pre-orders this week as I move my mom to her new home. I will be stocking up my usual stores, beginning Thursday at Manlius Supply Co. so be sure to head on over for your favorite local sourdough!

This beautiful lady is my mom, Rita. She's 88 years and can no longer live in her own house, so I've decided it's time to bring her to Manlius where my family and I can lavish her with love and happy times. I'll be headed to Portland, Oregon (where I grew up) on Friday and, if all goes well, I'll be returning with my mom and moving her into her new long-term care home in Manlius. This is the result of over a year of planning, hoping, praying, and mostly flying by the seat of my pants. Wish me luck as "Operation Get Grandma" gets underway this week.

SCHEDULE: We ARE taking orders for sourdough (not cinnamon rolls) this week, May 28, but are taking June 4 off.

My full menu will return June 11, and I will have a limited supply avialable June 8-9 at Manlius Supply Co. and Eugenia's General Store.

Happy Memorial Day Weekend! 🚨🚨IMPORTANT ANNCOUNCEMENT BELOW🚨🚨

Hope everyone is staying dry 🌧️
Orders are opening soon for Thursday, May 28. We have LOTS of sourdough flavors, including our Cheddar and Chive (hooray!) and Cinnamon Sugar (our famous breakfast bread without the raisins!).

🚨🚨 FYI 🚨🚨 Be sure to stock up this week because we will NOT be taking pre-orders for next week (June 4). I'll be busy flying cross-country for "Operation Get Grandma" --moving my elderly mother to Manlius to be near my family. Wish me luck! We will be back with a full menu June 11.
