Back-to-school week is almost here! And I’ve got a few new things on the menu this week—including Chocolate Swirl Sourdough!!

It’s my classic sourdough with a rich cocoa-and-chocolate-chip swirl throughout. Toast it, spread a little butter or Nutella, or just slice and eat—it’s a fun breakfast or snack for the kids as they head back to school next week (and I have a feeling the grown-ups won’t mind it either 😉).

Is it soup season yet? As the weather hints of coolness, treat yourself to a manual bread slicer. They are THE BEST (thing since sliced bread? I'll see myself out....). There are lots to choose from on Amazon, etc. Mine is a Graef imported from Germany (before prices got craaaaaaazy). We use it every day.
