As 2026 came upon us all, I was going to work very hard on posting on Facebook regularly and here it is February 2nd and I haven’t done that. For whatever reason, I am more comfortable posting on Instagram.
After the holidays, I started to try out dye free colors in my icing. I made a few posts with the colors and you can view them on Instagram for Double Oven Cookies. I love the colors I have gotten from Sugar Art and I was afraid it would be hard to get the colors I needed. Not so! So far, I am excited and can see only two downsides to using them- one is the cost and two is the expiration date. Expiration is much shorter than regular gels with dyes. My goal is be totally dye free within a year.
