Lucy Q’s made me an absolutely stunning cake for tomorrow! Amber-therese Foster asked me what theme I wanted, and I simply gave her my colors. No theme… just trust her creativity. She created the most gorgeous floral cake!

This picture doesn’t do it justice, but can we talk about the little details? It even came with a cake knife and a candle! Get out! 🥹💕

I already know it’s going to be delicious because I’ve had her cupcakes before. I can’t wait to cut into it tomorrow!

New flavor alert on one of my signature cakes!

Meet my Piña Colada Kentucky Butter Cake. 💛

If you’ve been following my baking journey, you know I absolutely love taking my classic signature cakes and creating fun new flavor combinations. Since pineapple and coconut are two of my favorites, I just had to turn my Kentucky Butter Cake into a tropical escape!

This flavor is available for a limited time, so if you’ve been waiting for something new, this is it!

Today I’ll be turning this cake into my Cuddle Cakes with a layer of creamy piña colada ganache, then enrobing each one in a luscious cream cheese white chocolate coating. 🤍 I’ll be sharing a video later today so you can see the entire process from cake to finished Cuddle Cake!

This was my test cake… and I’d say it was a success. 😂 Austin ate half of it for breakfast throughout the week! If that’s not a glowing review, I don’t know what is! I’m baking another one today.

If you’re more of a traditional cake lover, this flavor is also available as a Bundt cake, finished with a light drizzle that perfectly complements the buttery, tropical flavors.

To make 1 cup of cake flour using all-purpose flour:

🥄 Measure 1 cup of all-purpose flour
✨ Remove 2 tablespoons of the flour
🌽 Replace it with 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
🔄 Pulse in a food processor for 10–15 seconds until well combined.

This simple trick creates a lighter, more tender flour that’s perfect for cakes and cupcakes when you don’t have cake flour on hand.

What’s the one cookie that instantly reminds you of summer? ☀️🍪

For me, it’s a Macaroon.

There’s just something about toasted coconut, rich dark chocolate, and that first bite that’s crisp on the outside and soft and chewy in the center that feels like summer.

These jumbo coconut macaroons have quickly become one of my favorite seasonal treats. They’re naturally gluten free, making them easy to share with family and friends, and they’re just as perfect with an iced coffee as they are after dinner on the porch.

Sometimes the simplest desserts become the sweetest summer memories. 🤍 ☀️
