💍🍰 MY FIRST EVER WEDDING CAKE 🍰💍
I FINALLY HAVE THE PICTURES!!! 😭😭😭

Y'all don't understand what this means to me.
This was my very first wedding that I had the honor of baking for. My first time creating an entire wedding dessert experience, my first wedding cake, my first time seeing something I had imagined in my head actually sitting at a couple's wedding.

And then… I FORGOT TO TAKE PICTURES OF THE DAMN CAKE. 😂😂😂

I took pictures of the dessert table.

I took pictures of everything else.

But the ONE thing I absolutely needed pictures of?
THE WEDDING CAKE.
🤦🏽‍♀️😂

I was so focused on making sure everything was done, everything was beautiful, and everything was where it needed to be that it completely slipped my mind.

So I've been waiting for the professional photos ever since.
And now that I finally have them, I can actually stop saying:

"I swear I made a wedding cake… I just don't have a picture of it." 😂

HERE SHE IS. ❤️

My very first wedding cake.

Looking back at this photo, I don't just see cake. I see the beginning of something I wasn't even completely sure I was capable of doing yet.

I see all the late nights.

The nerves.
The second-guessing.
The learning.
The figuring-it-out-as-I-went.
And then I see the finished cake sitting at someone's wedding.

And damn… I'm proud of her. 🥹

This cake represents a pretty important moment in my journey as a baker and as a business owner.

And of course, I have to give a huge thank-you to the beautiful couple who trusted me with their wedding day and gave me the opportunity to create my very first wedding cake. ❤️ Olivia Offenbacher thank you

Being trusted with something that important as a baker who was still growing meant more to me than they probably realized.

It was my first wedding.

A little, NO MAKEUP from MoldsOfFun! 🍫

This is what it looks like when I de-mold one of my signature .

I'll let you in on a little secret... this one didn't survive the first attempt. 😅 Chocolate can be unpredictable, and sometimes handmade creations have a mind of their own. Especially when its 96° outside!

What you don't see is that I melted it back down, remade it, and made sure my customer received a perfect one. That's the difference between simply making chocolate and taking pride in your craft.

Every order is hand-poured, hand-finished, and inspected before it leaves my kitchen.

And the best part? My customer was thrilled with her order. 💚
