Successful morning trapping!! I FINALLY caught the ever elusive Wildflower!! I can’t believe it. She is my white whale. I’ve been after her for at least a year!! She will be spayed, vaccinated, ear tipped, treated for fleas and will board with my Vet overnight to recover. Thank you so much to everyone who has made this possible, I definitely could not do this without your help.

I need help again. I have a spay neuter appointment set up tomorrow for TNR and there are still at least 10 cats that I need to trap. I’m trying to get at least one a week and I’m trying not to be overwhelmed by it all. If anyone is able to help with the veterinary funds, I would be so grateful. I’m sorry that I cannot afford to do this by myself and I’m sorry that I have to ask for help again, but I honestly have no other options at this point. Anything helps. Commenting and sharing this post also helps.

Home from the vet with a clean bill of health, hooray! Waffles even let me cuddle her for the first time😭

Flapjack is the sweetest love bug ever and he absolutely adores being brushed & having belly rubs! He purrs the moment I touch him-actually his motor starts the moment he flops over and looks at me so lovingly. Waffles is still suspicious, but she is no longer terrified. They go to the vet tomorrow and hopefully we get the all clear that all these medications have done their job and they are healthy🧡🐾

Waffles and Flapjack are still super scared and it’s difficult to catch them give them all their medications they need so I had the GENIUS idea to put a smaller pop-up tent with their rainbow puff inside their larger pop-up tent so that I could grab it more easily and pull it to me instead of having to crawl inside the bigger tent. Well, they figured out my not so clever scheme and now they camp on top of the smaller tent, and as soon as I unzip the outer flap of the big pop-up tint, they jump up on top of the small tent or behind it so I still have to crawl halfway in. Poor babies are still very feral and it’s like they know I am sick myself and they’re making it as hard as possible for me. I’m just getting over Covid and battling a upper respiratory infection, so it’s a house full of sickies over here😹💕

Meet Waffles ( tortie tabby girl) & Flapjack (orange boy)! These babies are around three months old and not feeling too good. They have an upper respiratory infection and worms, but they’ve been bathed & vaccinated and they’re safe indoors with me on a fluffy rainbow puff. We’ve got medicines to administer over the next week and then they will go back for a follow up visit with my amazing Vet at Southern Haven. Thank you so much to everyone who helped make this possible. They’re pretty feral, but I’m hoping I can get them adoptable. Y’all wish me luck!

I was able to trap the two older kittens together, yay! They will be headed to Southern Haven Veterinary later this morning for check ups, flea baths, and first round of vaccinations, and then back home to me to Foster.
