We're kicking off the season with our brand new Summer Cake Drop, a playful collection inspired by candy aisles, pool days, camping trips, 90s nostalgia, sunshine, and everything we love about summer.

GEM POP

Creamsicle-colored (hello, ice cream truck!), covered in oversized jewels and vintage-inspired piping reminiscent of childhood toy boxes, Lisa Frank folders, and the ring pops we all begged our parents for at the grocery store checkout line.

Remember the glorious sugar-fueled chaos of the '90s? This cake is our dreamy little tribute to sleepovers, candy stashes, butterfly hair clips, and all the sugary fun of being a kid.

Finished with pressed flowers, delicate botanical details, and soft buttercream textures, it's romantic, timeless, and perfect for celebrations year-round.

We’ve officially launched our new Signature Cake Collection online to make ordering a beauuuutiful cake as seamless as possible for you all.

From romantic vintage piping to floral garden-inspired finishes, these cakes were designed to feel beautiful, effortless, and ready for any occasion while still keeping that Butter Cake Shoppe style you know and love.

So, a few weeks ago we went to Vegas to see No Doubt at the Sphere and it was AMAZINGGG. The fashion, the music, the nostalgia… immediately transported me back to my youth in the best possible way. Warm, tingly, chaotic, iconic... all of it.

And it completely inspired our upcoming summer cake collection!

No, there’s no tartan or leopard print involved (sorry 😂) but think Delia’s catalog meets Lisa Frank energy. Playful colors, dreamy details, candy, sleepover nostalgia, and full-on summer fun.

We seriously cannot wait to show you what we’ve been working on, but here’s a little sneak peek :)

And one more thing...

Thank you for your orders during Teacher Appreciation Week! We were able to make our donation to Pasadena Educational Foundation and help support programs and opportunities for students in our local community.

As always, everything is baked fresh in small batches with real ingredients, lots of butter, and lots of love from these two little sisters in Los Angeles.

Mother’s Day preorder closes TOMORROW!

And this week, we also wanted to do something sweet for the teachers in our community 🍎

As parents with kids in PUSD, we know firsthand how much love, patience, energy, and heart teachers pour into their students every single day. In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, a portion of proceeds from all cupcake and Pink Cookie sales on May 7-May 8 will be donated to Pasadena Educational Foundation (PEF), helping support programs and opportunities for local students and schools.

It’s a small way for us to say thank you to the wonderful people helping shape and care for the next generation every day!

We’ve been having a lot of fun in the kitchen lately… and it sparked a new idea!

Introducing our Seasonal Cake Drops

A few times a year we’ll be releasing limited seasonal cakes inspired by the flavors and designs we’re loving at the moment. Think bright fruits, fun flavor pairings, and cakes that feel a little extra special.

And we're kicking it off with spring!

This season’s cakes are available now through May and they are just as delicious as they are beautiful.

Orange Strawberry Blossom
Fragrant orange zest cake filled with strawberry buttercream and luscious strawberry curd, decorated with citrus and fresh seasonal florals.

Raspberry Chocolate Praline
Spongy raspberry cake layered with silky chocolate buttercream and a crunchy hazelnut praline center, finished with fresh raspberries and chocolate-covered cherries.

Both cakes are available in 5", 6", 8", and two-tier sizes, perfect for birthdays, spring gatherings, or celebrating something/someone special... like yourself!

Once spring ends, these flavors will disappear to make room for our summer cakes.
