Well, that’s a wrap for this week. We were hoping to be done by today but we had rain/thunderstorms rip through the area every day and shut us down a few times. We are still pretty happy with our progress and I’d say we’re about 95% done so we will be back out next Thursday to wrap everything up. I hope everybody has a great Labor Day weekend. Stay safe and we’ll catch you guys on the next job.

💧 TECH TIP TUESDAY — AquaBlox! 💧

What’s underneath a pondless waterfall is just as important as what you see above ground!

One of the most important tools we use for underground water storage is AquaBlox. These strong, load-bearing structures create a large underground reservoir while maximizing the amount of water we can store in a relatively small footprint.

Instead of filling the entire basin with gravel—which takes up valuable water-storage space—AquaBlox provide an open structure that allows us to store significantly more water underground while still supporting the rock and gravel above.

Why does that matter? 👇

💧 More usable water storage
💧 Helps keep pumps properly supplied
💧 Allows us to build larger, higher-flow waterfalls
💧 Creates a strong, stable underground reservoir
💧 Makes better use of the available space
