My name is Brittany, and I’m the owner of Denno Backyard Homestead, a small cottage bakery and homestead business in Indiana! I specialize in sourdough breads, muffins, gourmet cinnamon rolls, sourdough cookies, and a variety of shelf-stable goodies, including custom spice blends, specialty jams and jellies, and homemade pancake mixes.

I would be 𝗛𝗢𝗡𝗢𝗥𝗘𝗗 to have the opportunity to do business with you, and I certainly wouldn’t turn down the chance! Honestly, an opportunity like this would be life-changing for me, and an experience I’d talk about for the rest of my life. 🥹

I didn't feel like cooking dinner tonight, but the kids still needed fed 🥲😅

Homemade chicken noodle soup that I freeze dried a couple months ago reconstituted perfectly for an easy dinner and tastes just as good as the day I made it. 😋

It’s pancake mix restock day! 🥞

Today I’m knocking out old-fashioned buttermilk, brown sugar, and maaaybbeee some Vanilla Strawberry if time allows.

Fun fact: I get questioned about my products A LOT because apparently they look “too professional.” 😂

I’ve been asked more than once where I wholesale my products from, where I get them, or who makes them for me.

You guys 😂 I am the supplier.

I make every. single. thing. I sell.

I design the labels. I print them. I cut them out. I stick them on. I mix the dry mixes. I weigh out every. single. bag.

And yes, I weigh them individually because I want you to get the same consistent product every time you buy from me.

So while I’ll absolutely take “your stuff looks too professional” as a compliment, just know there’s no secret manufacturer hiding in the background. 😂

It’s literally just me, my kitchen, a whole lot of bags, and an unreasonable amount of attention to detail. 🫶🏼

I’m pretty damn proud of that fact 🤎🫶🏼

We had some extra baked goods left over from yesterday’s event, and rather than posting them at a discount, we decided to load them up and share them with the firefighters on shift today!

My boys LOVE firetrucks, so getting to see them up close while dropping off some sweet treats was pretty exciting for them! ☺️🚒
