New week means new specials!

This week I’m kicking it old school and doing my own version of the supreme combo!

We got mozzarella, hot Italian sausage from , sweet peppers from , mushrooms, onions, green olives, cup & char pepperoni from and finished with fresh basil.

For the sandwich special this week we’re going back to the early days of Defiant Baking Co.

Mortadella, pesto, house made stracciatella, arugula and tomatoes from .

I’m also trying out a new flavor of focaccia!

Hours this week look a little different. Friday (9/25) I’m closing the shop at 2. I’ll be selling pizza slices out at Bokisch vineyards that night from 5-8!

What’s up everyone!

Need to talk with you about cookies. After this week I will no longer be making the maple bacon cookies. When I started making cookies I knew I was going to stick to one flavor and I wanted to use farmers market as a tester for which cookie would be sticking around and which would be going to the archives. You all loved the pistachio cookie and sold it out every week so that cookie is going to stay on the menu.

If you loved the maple bacon cookies then this is your last week to buy them and freeze them if you need to because I will not be making them again.

I have some new items I’d like to start working on and hopefully add to the menu.

With that being said, pre orders go live at 9am (link in bio) and this is the last week of the farmers market so I hope y’all come out and support! Thanks everyone!

New pizza will be available this weekend. It’s simple and extremely delicious. The kind of pizza that makes you feel this is what pizza is SUPPOSED to be. It will be available Friday and Saturday 11-7.

Focaccia crust, house made red sauce and pepperoni. Finished with stracciatella cheese, house made hot honey, fresh basil and fresh grated pecorino romano.

Also, thank you to everyone that has reached out with condolences and well wishes during this difficult time. It really means a lot to me. Thank you.

Unfortunately, for the second year in a row I have had to make the extremely difficult decision to put down one of my best friends. Cash has been my baby boy ever since I found him out in the delta 13 years ago. He’s loyal, ridiculously smart, has zero quit, and is just as happy spending the day in bed with you as he is out in a field chasing a ball. Up until a few weeks ago I thought he’d live forever. But over the last few weeks he’s quality of life has dropped to the point where he can’t get up or walk across the room on his own. Rather than let him suffer, I’d rather him be at peace and join his big brother up in heaven.

I made the call today and his last day with us will be Wednesday. Because of this I will not be serving pizzas at the shop on Wednesday so we can spend as much time as we can with our baby cash.

I’ll be at the farmers market with focaccia and cookies on Thursday and back in the shop on Friday and Saturday with pizza and sandwiches. Thank you all for your continued support. I’ll see you soon.
