Thank you so much to everyone who came out to the Hub Farmers Market last night! It was beautiful evening and getting to chat with so many of yall is a GIFT! I love seeing yall. I will be there next Wednesday 5-7PM with more fresh baked breads & more cake slices! If you got one, we’d love to hear your thoughts! Try to come early if you can, we have sold out fairly quickly the last two weeks. 🌾🖤

Did you also know you can use your SNAP/EBT benefits at the farmers market? There is a table at the beginning of the market that allows you to exchange them for tokens to pay vendors. These token can be used to purchase fresh produce & fresh bread from any vendors that have applied!

Our bakery is a deep labor of love & mutual aid project that wants folks to feel nourished through food & sharing knowledge/information, without cost being a barrier.
We hope to bake & see you oh so soon!

👩🏼‍🌾 SUPPORT THE BAKERY👩🏼‍🌾

We are immensely grateful for the opportunity to be offered to table at the 2026 Hub farmers market in Lincoln. Doing this market weekly from May through September would allow us to support mutual aid groups more directly, bring high quality baked goods, bring more educational community events & save for a community space!

We are asking folks to help us make it a successful season. We are fundraising with a goal of $750, this amount would cover our tabling fee, the beginning insurance payment for business tabling (new for us as this is a well established market), a needed 8FT table & a canopy to keep breads safe during Nebraska weather, and lastly any additional funds going to maintain my truck as this is our main transportation from our kitchen to markets! The only way we will@be able to do this market is with commhnity support! Please share & help if you are able. 🥕🍓🥖

Email or DM us your donation & we’ll give you a free pastry or bread during our May 2026 tabling as a thank you. 🖤 🤲🏼🥯

On the second session monthly we will be showing a film, sharing a dessert & discussing it together afterwards. These discussions are done in hopes to engage in transformative community discussion, share & organize direct action ideas for how to better thrive outside of capitalism/fascism & reimagine what a word for everyone can look like. This month those are April 13th & April 27th- Mondays on the 4th floor auditorium at the Bennet Martin Library downtown Lincoln- 6PM-7:45PM.

April 22nd 5-8PM we will be putting on a little farmers market to support local mutual aid! & direct aid fund could use some love. More info soon!

We are going to take things real seriously. if our country is going to be really set in its ways. Then we shall take that as a reminder to be as well. This is a project that is welcome to everyone but it is to be built as a reminder that oppression has no home between us.
