This week at market, Sept 2, come enjoy music by up-and-coming local artist, Ella Dibbern! Ella is a speech-language pathology graduate student by day, singer-songwriter by night. You’ll hear some Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Lucinda Williams and others as well as some original tunes. In the second half, fellow musicians Jami Fristo (percussion), Tom Reardon (bass), Yanori Fixdal (flute), and Genevieve Johnson (harmonies) will join in for an alternative folk/country sound you won't want to miss! Join us 5-7pm in Union Plaza at 21st & Q Street by Hub Cafe!

Want some kickass literature & support local mutual aid at the same time?

Become a member of our Ko-Fi! Monthly we’ll send you a good ol mail literature pack. Depending on the tier you choose it will include house written zines, house made stickers and buttons, alongside an analog paper coupon to be traded at porch pickups or market events!

The money from our ko-fi will help build sustainability for our project and help direct more funds to mutual aid projects locally by having reoccurring support.

We are offering membership tiers at $8,$12,$15 monthly. Signup before the end of the month to receive our first mail offering during the first week of September!

Come find us this month! We will be at the Hub Farmers Market every Wednesday this month 5PM-7PM right outside the The Hub Café! Support local farmers and support your health! The farmers market also accepts snap benefits! So if you have snap, you can trade them in for tokens to be used to by produce & breads at the market!

We are continuing to read Making Abolitionist Worlds. We will be reading sections 3/4/5 together and discussing after. Our conversation this week will focus on demands those incarcerated are making and how prisons have been recreated in our “free” lives. Desserts are provided & Masks are highly encouraged!

We will be showing the 2023 movie “Sing Sing”. This movie explores a prison group who uses theatre and community to navigate the intense emotions of being incarcerated, living in an overwhelming oppressive society and what it means to rely on one another through grief, fear, and the want of freedom.
Mass encouraged & dessert is provided!

TABLING SHOWS:
We will have literature, harm reduction supplies and stickers/posters to offer! Come find us!
