After working 13 years with the Hyatt Hotels Corporation (at both the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego and Hyatt Regency Kauai), Alfred decided to become his own boss and pursue his dream of creating extraordinary cakes and dessert creations and founded Sugar Skull LLC. His hotel background gave him expertise in planning and preparing cakes and desserts for convention events, corporate meetings, private functions, weddings, birthday parties, and more.
