I’ve been so behind on posting all the orders, but honestly… that’s a blessing in itself. 🤍
I was looking back through my camera roll today, and it made me stop and thank God.
I don’t think I’ve ever shared the “why” behind Joy Arle Kitchen.
After I had Caleb, I struggled with postpartum. It was a really hard season, and I needed something that brought me joy again. Baking became that place for me. It started as something that helped heal me before it ever became a business.
Then last December, me and my babies were in a wreck. It was one of those moments that reminds you how quickly life can change. Not long after that, my husband surprised me with a brand-new car. I never really shared much about that season because I was just trying to get through it.
My husband is an incredible provider, but I kept thinking, “Lord, I want to help.” Not because he expected me to, but because we’re building a life together. We’re raising our family, saving for a home, and I wanted to help carry some of that weight.
So I kept baking.
Early mornings. Late nights. Icing cakes while the kids were running around. Cleaning the kitchen just to make another mess.
And in June, for the first time, Joy Arle Kitchen paid my car note.
I sat there and just thanked God.
It wasn’t really about the car payment. It was about what it represented.
God took something that was born out of one of the hardest seasons of my life and used it to bless my family.
Every cake. Every cinnamon roll. Every cookie. Every order has meant more than just a sale.
So if you’ve ever ordered from me, shared one of my posts, recommended me to a friend, or prayed for my little business… thank you. You are part of this story, too.
The Lord has been so faithful, and I truly believe He’s just getting started. 🤍Joy Arle Scott-White
