Spring break for our family was spent working. But it’s my favorite kind of work. We volunteered at two different orphanages. We held lots of babies, played with lots of kids, chatting with lots of teenagers, painted benches, sidewalks and walls. Made food for the orphans, delivered food to underprivileged families and made a lot of memories we’ll never forget. These people touched our lives. I’m grateful we had the chance to teach our kids to think outside of themselves for spring break.

While visiting family in Texas, my cousin whipped these up for us. I was obsessed and knew I'd be making them again ASAP. Super easy and perfect for parties or BBQs. Just three ingredients: 2 pounds of peanuts, a bag of milk chocolate chips, and a bag of butterscotch chips. Melt the chips together, mix with peanuts, drop into clusters, and refrigerate for an hour. You've gotta try these!

Chocolate-covered Brussels sprouts with sprinkles are the perfect April Fools joke. We had dinner guests and gave everyone a "cake pop" to enjoy during a toast. The looks on their faces when they bit in were priceless! 😆
