It's farmers market day! My exclusive Anadama sourdough is making its first appearance of this market season. I'm bringing all the bread today. I've got regular sourdough in various shapes and sizes, as well as wheat-free sourdough, fresh bagels and fresh focaccia. No sweets because sanity and sleep are my priorities so there just wasn't enough time. And it looks like it might be a beautiful day. Hope to see you there! Lee Farmers Market

Not going to lie. I got a little nervous at first and then I googled it.... I ran out of my big bottle of flake sea salt...

Not going to lie. I got a little nervous at first and then I googled it.... I ran out of my big bottle of flake sea salt so I used some of our fancy salt from Iceland and got this weird dark reaction. After googling it, it says it is based on the mineral content that there is iodine or potassium iodine that reacts with the starches and the bread and creates the dark blue black reaction. Cool and weird at the same time.
