Product photography needs to be undertaken cautiously when part of your product is dice so tiny that you can mistake a large pillbug for it...🤦‍♀️
Still haven't found the die I lost, but it's one I have literally never used, so of all the dice to lose, it's the best. And I'm gonna get a decent magnet and see if I can find it with that.

Wasn't planning to get more beads, but needed to order a few things and was 1 penny away from free shipping 🤦‍♀️ These were the cheapest option in my "save for later" list and cost about the same as shipping, so I got them. And I already have a plan for them.
However, due to my new trust issues, I'll have to make the new design, then wear it for a month or two to make sure the beads aren't garbage. So they won't be available for quite a long time :~/
Aren't they so pretty though? Which is your favourite?

As someone who doesn't do many events and has done very few ren faires, I find it interesting that this will be the 2nd faire I'll be involved with from the start.
Come see me in just under two weeks at the Galena Renaissance Faire! My folks are helping out with this one for a little bit too, so I'll actually be able to wander and check out the faire :~)

Not sure if these will actually ever make it to the shop, simply because, while I love how it's turning out, it's messy (meant to be), but it takes time. I don't know that I could ever sell them for a fair price where it's worth it for me to make them. Making them neater would A. make it take several times as long, and B. lose a lot of the charm.

Sad and stressed (but crucially, home for the day...), so let's drink and start a project with a 90% chance of failure...that's the right course of action, yeah?
I was gonna take my time and research how to do this properly, but the adhd said it's time to start...😆

So...I found these gorgeous earrings from Sacra Luna, made from real chrysalises, and thought I'd see if there's any interest in something like that (I'm not stepping on their toes, they only made one set a while back, but Sacra Luna, if you want me to take this down, I will).
I also made chrysalis jar necklaces ages ago, but didn't have any real interest.
Anyway, let me know if you're interested, and check out IL Monarch Nursery to see the sweet babies that just chrysalised.

I'm working on some *very* limited upcycled clothing designs that I'm hoping to have ready by the ren faire I'm doing in Sept (highly doubt they'll be ready for the faire at the end of this month...).
I've been nervous to do clothing, because there's such a push to always be size inclusive, which I'd love to do, but at the moment, I'm working with items I can get for the prices I can currently afford, using thrifted and clearanced pieces.
If I wait til I can afford buying things in every size, I'll never start because I need to make some kind of money before I have the funds for that. It's a vicious cycle...
Of course, I was about to take these off the line, and the rain cut loose, so drying will take a little longer. I was outside in the rain and could literally wring water out of the clothes I was wearing 😆
