For Father's Day Weekend and 4th of July Weekend Pop-Ups we will be offering Cream pies and Cheesecakes.

These will be the last times we'll be able to offer these items, as once we transition to home-based baking under Cottage Food Law regulations, cream pies and cheesecakes will no longer be permitted.

If you've been craving one of our cream pies or cheesecakes, now is the time to order!

Time for the Bakery Sale!

We've started setting up the lobby with items that are available for immediate purchase, and we still have a bit more to add and should be ready for our Friday pop up this week.

The equipment and fixtures list is posted below. Please note that most of the equipment is still being used as we continue operating through July 4th. Those items can be claimed now with a 50% non-refundable deposit and picked up beginning July 5th.

I have been going through a lot of things at the bakery and organizing what we will no longer be using.

I plan to have items out in the lobby for sale during our Pop-Ups that will be available right away for purchase.

I will also be posting a list of larger items on June 1st for sale that will be available July 5th but those items can be claimed with a down payment.

Reminder — we still have 2 more June pop ups!
June 5th & 6th
June 19th & 20th

Then our final pop up weekend will be July 3rd & 4th.

All items being sold will be available for pick up on July 5th.

Thank you all again for supporting us through this transition ❤️ we are excited to be taking a step back and baking from our home again.
We plan to start joining markets again in Fall so let us know your favorite fall/winter markets!

Jake (my husband) and I have been looking without any luck. Is there anywhere around Laporte to get offroad/agriculture diesel fuel? We need it for our tractor, we have always just paid for regular but these prices are crazy!

Sorry I have been MIA this past week!
My family and I went on a week vacation, and I spent very little time on my phone so we could truly enjoy our time together. ❤️ I am getting through all the emails and messages I missed you should hear back from me today or tomorrow.

Bakery Building is for sale! ❤️

Our landlord has decided to put the building up for sale, and we have decided it is time for us to move back to home-base baking.

Our last day in the storefront will be July 4th.
We will have 2-3 more pop-ups before we close the storefront.

With our family growing up and life constantly changing, having the storefront is just not working for our family anymore. While this chapter is coming to an end, Emmy’s Bakery is NOT going away! You will still be able to place orders with us — we will just be operating from home, focusing on markets, custom orders, and simplifying things a bit.

Maybe once the kids are older, I will try my hand at having a storefront again, but right now being present for my family, especially my kids and all of life’s moments, is my top priority.

Thank you all so much for the love, support, and memories we have made in this building. My husband and I poured so much love, sweat, and tears into this place, and while it is bittersweet, I know it is ready for the next person’s dreams.

We are officially fully booked for orders next week — thank you all so much! We have a full schedule of Teacher Appreciation orders going out and we are so grateful for the support ❤️
