🍎📚 TEACHER BOXES ARE BACK FOR YEAR 3! 📚🍎

We are SO excited to announce that we are bringing back our Teacher Boxes for the THIRD year! 🥳💗

This year is going to look a little different because we are now completely home-based. While we’re incredibly grateful to still be able to do these boxes, our space is much smaller and our home oven can only bake 1 dozen cookies at a time, compared to the 10 dozen at a time we were able to bake at the bakery. 🍪

Because of this, we will have a limited number of Teacher Boxes available this year. ❤️

✨ Here’s what you need to know:
🍎 Available for teachers, school staff, coaches & bus drivers
🍎 List of Schools on Application (same as last year)
🎁 Each box will be filled with goodies and beautifully packaged
📦 The first boxes will go out in October
📝 Applications are open through September 30th once they are closed they are closed.

Pole Barn + Bakery Pop-Up Sale! 🍪🛍️

A few important notes before you come:
🚫 NO EARLY BIRDS, PLEASE!
🏡 Please respect our property and our neighbors (do not park in front of or in our neighbors driveway)
We have parking available in our yard

🚧 Our road is currently being repaved. We’re hoping the section directly in front of our house will be finished by Thursday, but please be patient if there are still crews or road work happening.

🍪 BAKERY ORDERS: Bakery menu items may vary by day but you can also place an order from the bakery menu (one made for the sale) ahead of time and choose which day you’d like to pick it up!

Hey everyone!

Due to the recent storms, we unfortunately need to reschedule our pole barn sale/bakery pop-up. We’re hoping to have it the last weekend of August or the following week, and we’ll keep everyone updated as soon as we have a new date!
Like many in LaPorte, we experienced some property damage from numerous fallen trees. Before we can safely hold the sale, we need to get everything cleaned up.

Because of how our land is laid out, we also need to wait for the rain to stop and the ground to dry out before we can begin the cleanup.

We truly appreciate your patience and understanding! ❤️ We’re looking forward to seeing everyone at the pop-up once we’re able to get everything ready. Thank you for your support!

Hello! It's been a while since I've made a post and shared what's been going on.
The bakery is still mostly in boxes, but I finally have my everyday baking essentials unpacked and organized!

I didn't realize just how much I brought home, and I quickly ran out of room. My family and I ended up doing a huge decluttering project throughout the house, which is why getting my kitchen and baking space set up has taken longer than I planned.

With that being said, in a few weeks we'll be having a HUGE 5-family pole barn sale! 🎉 I'll also be doing my very first bakery pop-up from home!

I'm still working on the menu and plan to keep it simple, but if there's something you've been craving or hoping to see, let me know in the comments! 🍪

We will start taking custom orders September 1st!

I'll post more details as we get closer, including the dates, times, and everything we'll have for sale. I can't wait to see everyone!

It's been a busy, busy week... it's Fair Week! 🎡🎂

I had the honor of judging the Adult Division Baked Goods for the third year in a row. It's always such a privilege to see all the talent and creativity our community brings to the fair!

Once fair week wraps up, I'll be getting my home kitchen back in order and ready to start baking again. Until then we will be at the fair enjoying all the fair food we can! 😋

My goal is to begin taking custom orders again by the end of July or the beginning of August. I'll keep everyone updated as I get everything set up!

**Drink Fridge is pending pick up tomorrow* Just wanted to give everyone an update on how things are going!

We officially have everything out of the bakery, minus the larger equipment we're still trying to sell.

If you know anyone looking for a double commercial gas oven, double commercial refrigerator, 30 lb. gas fryer, or a drink fridge, send them my way!

Right now we have a lot of sorting, organizing, and setting up to do at home before we're ready to start taking orders again. On top of that, our home oven decided to quit on us, so until we get the replacement part, I can't even bake for my own family!

Thank you all so much for your patience, understanding, and support as we make this transition back to being home-based. It truly means the world to us. ❤️

Just a reminder that now that we're operating under Indiana's cottage food law, there are a few items we can no longer offer. This includes:
• Cheesecakes
• Lemon Bars
• Buckeyes
• Cream Pies
• Anything containing cream cheese or other refrigerated fillings

While it's bittersweet to say goodbye to some customer favorites, we're excited to continue bringing you all of the cookies, bars, muffins, scones, and other baked goods you've come to love.

We can't wait to get back to baking for you soon!

Friday, July 3 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
Saturday, July 4 6:00 AM until the end of the parade

Please note that our menu will be limited as we have used up our remaining ingredients and are not placing any more grocery orders.

If we sell out on Friday, we will NOT be open on Saturday.

What we make is what we'll have—once it's gone, it's gone!

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who has supported Emmy's Bakery over the last few years. Your kindness, encouragement, and loyalty have meant more than you'll ever know.

While we're sad to close this chapter, we're excited to be moving back to a home-based bakery where we can slow down, spend more time with our family, and still see all of you at local markets and pop-ups.
