I have never considered myself a trendy person, and over the years, I have seen many trends come and go. While I usually let them pass, I have received multiple inquiries that I decided to hop aboard this time.

I introduce to you Happy Goat Dot Cakes. Yep those viral cakes that have taken over TikTok. And YES we have included a spoon so you can do the scrape test 😉 

And if you have no idea what I am talking about and are thinking aren't those just like just cake parfait cups you have done before. Yeah pretty much...... But with EXTRA sprinkles.

Have you looked at the schedule for June? Just as April and May, June is looking a bit chaotic. As I update my FAQ'S, procedures, etc please note that YES even if my storefront is closed your CAN preorder to pick up at Wi******er Farm Exchange Friday or Saturday! And items stocked there 7 days a week! The next time my storefront is open for Preorder Pick Up is this Friday 6/12 then next is BOTH 6/26 & 6/27. Thank you for your interest in a custom order with Happy Goat. Please review our ordering policies and procedures below:

Inquiry and Booking: To inquire about a custom order, please complete our Google Form. https://forms.gle/fqgQw9RF3s5Tg3Z6A
Once we reply to your inquiry, you have three days to respond. If we do not hear back within that timeframe, we will assume you are not proceeding; you are welcome to submit a new form when you are ready. Please allow a minimum of 10 days before your event date to inquire, confirm details, and secure your spot on our schedule. As we do reach capacity, we recommend ordering early.

Payment: Invoices are sent on the Monday of your pickup week. If you do not see your invoice on Monday please check your spam folder & if you still can't find it please contact me ASAP. Please note that larger orders and weddings require a deposit, which will be discussed during the quoting process.

Pickups: The agreed-upon date and time for pickup will be listed at the top of your invoice. If unforeseen circumstances prevent you from picking up your order at the scheduled time, it is your responsibility to contact Happy Goat to discuss alternative arrangements. If agreed upon, orders must be picked up within two weeks of the original date.

No-Call No-Show Policy: If you are unable to make your pickup, you have 24 hours to contact us to discuss your options. If we do not receive communication from you within 24 hours, your order will be considered abandoned and no refunds.

Refunds: We do not offer refunds on special orders or custom cakes. Weddings and large events require non-refundable deposits, as outlined during your consultation for those events.

As I approach my 11th year in business, I find myself reflecting on the journey of Happy Goat. It has been an incredible ride, but it also comes with the reality of the challenges facing small "mom and pop" businesses today. I was heartbroken to hear that Triple P's, a local favorite and a partner we’ve provided gluten-free bread to, is closing its doors. This is a sobering reminder of the difficulties small businesses currently face.

I want to be fully transparent with you about where things stand. Since moving to High St in 2022, my storefront hours have remained consistent. However, despite trying to pivot—including opening on Fridays based on feedback—Saturday sales and preorders have declined over the past year.

As a "one-man band," I have to make the best decisions for the longevity of my business. One of the best partnerships I have formed is with Wi******er Farm Exchange . They are open seven days a week, providing a consistent space for you to pick up treats or preorders. Because they see a level of traffic and have hours I simply cannot match alone, they remain a vital part of how I am able serve you.

I also want to address the shifting landscape in Lancaster. While the area is growing with new apartments and fast-food chains, it becomes increasingly difficult for small businesses to compete with corporate buying power and advertising. It is tough to see long drive-through lines for chains while local businesses struggle with the rising costs of ingredients, utilites, etc.

To continue providing for you, I must adapt. Summer is a busy season filled with weddings and graduations, birthdays, and I must prioritize these guaranteed orders. To help me manage production and ensure you get what you need, I strongly encourage you to utilize preorders.
