This couple was truly special! He wanted his bride to have whatever her heart desired, and she came to us with a beautiful idea that we were happy to take to the next level and make even more special for her.

They were also very thoughtful and conscious of their guests, realizing that the cake cutting is one of the most photographed moments of the wedding and if they were going to cut the cake in front of everyone, they wanted their guests to enjoy a piece of that cake, too. They wanted to be generous and mindful by making sure everyone could have a slice, rather than simply serving a separate dessert.

This dad is truly one of the coolest dads! Every year, he wants something extra special and detailed for his son, and this year’s theme was football. He wanted a 3D football, which we created out of Rice Krispie and modeling chocolate, and the entire cake was covered and decorated in fondant. And to top it off—no pun intended—he wanted the number 4 as the goal post, symbolizing the age his little one was turning.

This father and son came in to order a special cake for their wife and mother, who is obsessed with Tony Tony Chopper! We brought their vision to life by creating Chopper’s face entirely out of fondant, customized to match the design the family provided. We hope she loved both the cake and the personal touches! Kathleen and Brandon wanted something vintage with beautiful piping and florals, so we created a little hybrid of both styles. All of the delicate flowers are handmade from fondant, while the vintage piping is done with our homemade icing made in-house. This really cool person, Ursula, created something extra special for a very lucky seven-year-old who is obsessed with Godzilla! She came to us with an AI image, and we took it to the next level. This entire cake is edible, with Godzilla handmade from Rice Krispies and modeling chocolate, no molds! He wanted something dark and moody, like a nighttime scene, so we created glistening water and waves made from rice paper to bring it all to life.

When I met this couple, they wanted something totally different but this time, it wasn’t about the bride; it was all about the groom! He loves superheroes, magic, and the arts, so he wanted something unique and meaningful, yet with a minimal design because the custom topper was the star of the cake. To add a little drama, I recommended a veil inspired by a superhero’s cape, along with his favorite colors and a marble effect, a subtle nod to the franchise that means so much to him. It’s those little details that make a cake truly personal to a couple.

Congratulations, Kelsey and Ryan! Thank you both for being such sweet people and for trusting and supporting us. Happy nuptials, and I hope to see you both again!

Typically, we have lots of moms come in to order cakes for their kiddos, but this one was extra special because Dad stopped by to check us out for the very first time. I gave him a cupcake to try, and he ended up ordering a very special cake for his son’s 16th birthday! Of course, I had to ask about his son’s hobbies so we could personalize the design. He loves dirt bikes and tennis, so we incorporated both into the cake. Everything was custom-made and hand-cut from fondant, including a silhouette of his son riding his dirt bike, based on a photo Dad provided.
