SOJO COFFEE UPDATE! As many of you know, Danielle and I have placed the business and real estate that is SOJO COFFEE for sale. We have loved serving you over the last 13 years with the roasting business and nearly 5 years with the coffee shop, and we continue to greatly enjoy our work and seeing all of you at SOJO! Because of you, SOJO COFFEE has become one the very best uniquely hometown Mom-and-Pop coffee shops in the area and is one of Lakefield’s many successful and loved small businesses. Our quality and service are unmatched and business is booming! However, we feel it is time that the brand we created is passed on to a new owner, one that will bring new ideas, energy and growth to SOJO COFFEE and to the community. Danielle and I have plans for our next chapter in life and SOJO COFFEE deserves a new family to lead it into its next chapter.
Some of you are aware that we have been working with a local buyer over the last few months. Unfortunately, the buyer has decided to pursue other opportunities and will not be completing the purchase. As such, we are again looking for that special person, family or investor that would like to own a piece of what makes Lakefield special, a distinctive highly successful small business with its own unique personality and a stand-out among the many boring and unexceptional corporate coffee places. We are in search of a creative buyer that understands the importance of detail and quality and seeks to lead and operate their own fully turn-key established business. The hard work is already done; YOU can take it to the next level!
